The Rise of Japan’s ‘Iron Lady’ and Its Political Shift to the Right

  1. The Japanese public is fed up with the Left. The LDP knows it’s finished unless Takaichi takes the lead. She’s highly experienced, articulate, and has a solid understanding of geopolitical risks.

  2. An independent central bank is crucial. Economies are driven by many factors some of which the government has no cintrol over but people lack knowledge and believe bs. That's why trump got into power. The central bank should have a target and act swiftly so it does not get out of hand. Evryone always complains but it is necessary to lift interest rates to keep things some what steady.
Wait till you see the damage trump will do to the US economy. In fact the damage all populists do everywhere to their economies but people keep voting for the easy fixes. Take a look at Hungary and Turkiye but there are plaenty of examples.

  3. If trump thinks she's highly qualified that's hardly a recommendation. So is she nationalist or is she going to make trump rich by loosening their investment obstacles. Be careful. The right must love trump as he spreads his bs around the world.
