What’s happening to Japan is sad

Shinjuku, Kabukicho has always been a rough area of Tokyo, but with the huge increase in tourism and the weak economy, it’s gotten rougher here over the last 5 years. Living in Tokyo for many years and coming to Shinjuku weekly, I’ve seen a lot of changes.

  1. There's people who don't mind graffiti. I'll never understand… and I've seen some decent artwork here in Chicago. I just think there are better hobbies. Don't come to the Southside of Chicago by the way. Holding on to your garbage until you get to a garbage can is apparently the worst thing ever to a lot of people.

  2. OK here's some Clues.
The people in these shots do not look Japanese or even Asian. Japan does not have Public bins? Still? Who are those people just sitting there? Homeless? Or tourists? And this is Tokyo – same in Kyoto? In the Countryside? Whatever, the vermin are not just of the rodent family.
