  1. Cos Japan is an AMERICAN COLONY = they are not allowed to compete on a fair basis = US/UK have not been able to compete with the rest of the world since 1970

  2. 日本21世纪最大的错误是不断地把原有产品打磨得更完美,但没有花大力气搞底层创新。人均GDP竟然被韩国和台湾超过,这在本世纪初是无法想象的事情

  3. Blame the portuguese who gave richness of macau for who didnt deserve. Macau is dangerous in hands of whom we know. Japan doesnt have casinos.

  4. Nice, but honestly it's only the mobile pay they had that we didn't have in EU as well, in 2005. And perhaps TV streaming if it means all channels. Because I been able to watch several TV channel trou app's, at least in my country back then.

  5. I worked in a design consultancy and did a number of projects for Japanese companies. These projects were focused on delivering innovative products to the US market. At the end of most of these projects the client would inform us they needed to study the viability of these innovative solutions for the Japanese market. These never moved forward.

  6. Motorola A920 came out in 2003, predated by more than 4 years the iphone. It had selfie camera and GPS as well, none of wich the iphone introduced with … It had internet access FPS games etc

  7. Nah, you didn't even know what you were talking about.
The mobile payment system is pretty much like electric plugs and PAL/NTSC in the past, every country that has some level of technology development wants to own a system standard. That will always be a war in the technology market. The Japanese government has Japan's tech company in mind, which is why some of their invention can be easily pushed in their country but not in other countries. And don't even forget that when JP had mobile payment, most countries ain't even ready for such a innovation. That is all bull to say that about JP.

  8. Even in gachas this can be seen, at some point Kantai Collection was a big thing and was synonymous with "Boats but as Anime women", now that's Azur Lane and KC is only know to long time fans and older weebs.
It still has a loyal fan-base, but nothing compared to AL.

  9. I went to Japan in 2003 to study, bringing along my monochrome-screen Nokia 6510 (very popular at that time), the moment I reached Kyoto, I had to put away my Nokia, not only it couldnt be used in Japan, it even already had a video-call-coloured mobile in 2002/2003; when Blackberry wasnt 'the mobile' of the generation yet

  10. Europe was in the 1950s in 1920 as far as technology and infrastructure. Then came WW2 and a nation that was still living in the 1900 (USA) destroyed and brought Europe to 1850. As of 2025, Europe is around 2025, USA went back the 1250 AD, because they really want feudalism and monarchy.

  11. You allowed the America scum to move forward, or was it they weren't allowed to do that show thier superiority over the yanks or wanks .
Just like the F16 , the japanese had and made better in Japan.

  12. They were also economically sabotaged by the U.S. which made sure they couldn’t export these products because their currency was too valuable. We have kind of done the same in the U.S. our currency is really strong, but we also offshored our industrial base, which has set up an unprecedented crisis in our future, because we are relying on imports, but if that falls through we will suddenly have to switch gears, and then still have concern ourselves with the fact no one will really want to import our goods, other than our dollars. This is also because the reserves people have of our dollars is the thing that creates the dollars value. If people started getting rid of our reserves then the dollar’s value would plummet creating a positive feedback loop.

  13. they keep advance while you still in day dream, they wont put what they create for globally use. because which monkey can use their tech ? 😁

  14. japanese companies made ao good hardwares that other countries started adding or increasing tariffs /taxes on the imported goods and cried about buying local crap products on the basis of patriotism.

  15. China is doing it today because it is years ahead of the rest of the world, and many solutions are already going in a direction that is not possible to implement in the USA or west Europe without fundamental basic changes in everyday technology. At some point, if you are more advanced, you do not wait for others; you just evolve with it, is very important when you start to do it. For example, Poland starts to build its own e-infrastructure later than other Western European countries, and they start with newer and better tech, which is a perfect starting point to move faster with new solutions than a country like Germany, which built its own e-infrastructure 10 years earlier. To be on the same level as Poland, they must replace a huge network of already existing old tech, which is still working ok, so they are stuck with this tech. Poland, because it starts later, has infrastructure that is upgrade-ready without any replacement. The internet, telecom, and all modern infrastructure are just new and easy for the next steps. The same thing happened in Japan 20-25 years ago and in China in the last 5 years.

  16. They were right … I bought a 1inch cube MP3 player WITH SCREEN the same year the huge ipod came out…
Everything in Japan was better but they just didn't bother to market them outside.

  17. Being delusional is worse than being illiterate and you are spreading the Western narcissistic lies.

Lobotomized Japan did not make any mistakes. Lobotomized Japan achieved it's 2nd economic miracle by the 1980s.
Just as when lobotomized Japan achieved it's 1st economic miracle, the West waged war against Japan.
Japanese companies were sanctioned in favour of the Chinese and the Korean ones.

  18. This isn't surprising. They perfected bullet trains many decades ago and their first ever line opened in 1964. While America still has none to this day.

  19. That's why I love Japanese goods…it's trustworthy and if you wait you will get a peace of mind as well as you can enjoy the product instead of you as a customer becoming the beta tester of their product

  20. It's more interesting to me that QR codes were not proprietary and the Japanese inventors released it for use by anyone, and still it took 15 years to reach the US as a standard practice.

  21. lmao, japan can only make products for japan because otherwises usa will steal it and sell it, maybe if japan is lucky it was get some licensing royalty, but usa basically just steals it as right of conquest after ww2. even steve jobs and bill gates admited usa steals from japan.

  22. Naw, they just didn't hire enough international business marketers. If the ads and articles were in English they'd reach a much bigger market. When executives get satisfied with groupthink.

  23. Japan has been subservient to USA since being occupied by thousands of American troops since WW2 and cannot be 'too successful' without approval from Washington. That is why Japan is in its economic depression for decades and is finally able to gain some independence recently as it now has an alternative option in the Global South, Asean and especially BRICS all of which are growing markets unlike the USA and Europe who remain important but are mature and their markets are stagnant and now only comprise less than 12% of the world's population.
