FULL REMARKS: President Trump speaks to US troops in Japan

President Donald Trump addressed US troops on the USS George Washington in Japan on Tuesday during his days-long trip to Asia. Trump is set to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.

Trump met with Japan’s newly elected, ultraconservative leader ahead of one of the busiest days of his Asia trip, which will include speaking to those troops aboard an aircraft carrier and mingling with business leaders.

Just days after taking office, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi may look to build a personal connection with Trump to ease trade tensions. One idea floated by Japan’s government is to buy a fleet of American Ford F-150 trucks.

Trump spent Sunday in Malaysia as part of his ongoing trip through Asia to discuss mostly trade with world leaders.

    What an idiot. Japan is not the country where Trump should be trying talk about magnets, when Japan has just brought out the magnetic train (Maglev) that can hit over 500kph. 😅

    Does this mean that the president fully understands that as a leader of its country first, it's a number one priority to maintain viability and the scope of progress?
    It's confusing because the reasons for several ranking positions make up a whole when it comes to organizational behaviors.
    Everyone has a specific expertise.
    No one individual is such a genius to the point of being knowledgeable about defense, technology, mental health, as a matter of fact, some college students attend and take crash courses, some pay others to plagiarize, in other words, some of the best Emmy award winners have never honestly earned the entitled awards.

    Anyone who thinks we are better in the world than when Biden was President is mistaken. Trump bullying our allies, being friendly to Russia over Ukraine is NOT making us popular. His actions off the coast of Venezuela won’t see him charged for crimes in the USA, but the others involved may be.
