    The multi-nodal world is driven not merely by desire to be out from under the reign of fear imposed by the Hegemon, but also out of necessity to find alternative payment settlement systems. The maintenance of the US$ as world-reserve currency requires that the U.S. keep adequate supply of dollars around the world, and even before the absolute disaster of Trump, there was inadequate dollar supply. Keeping dollars spread around the world requires that the U.S. run a trade deficit AND promote foreign aid; both these push dollars out into world circulation. But the idiotic U.S. admin is cutting BOTH. Therefore, other nations wishing to continue trading need alternative settlement systems.

    Softbank investment policy is literally win big lose big, aka gambling, they were betting on OpenAI valuation to go up by many times after their supposed IPO next year, that's why they decided to invest on the company before it goes public. They know that Nvidia is not going to go up much in value.

    But reality is no-one wants US goods.
    The world does not need them and the typical US made product is poor quality.
    US Ag products are typically GMO and the world has identified GMO is not healthy. Not ever for stock feed.
    US meet is full of hormones and steroids – causes cancer in children.
    And now Tylenol causes autism according to Robert Kennedy.
    US cars are crap and inefficient. To big for most roads in most nations.
    US services are poor and customer service non existent
    US arrogance even from customer service centres.
    US goods cost more than goods from Canada and Mexico and will get even more expensive as tariffs impact production costs.
    Pretty easy to see who's lying about Gasolene/Petrol prices in USA. list the current Pump price from January and now.
    That info is published.
    Bessant lies and stutters and pauses. His tells give him away.

    Why can't they stop all these crab talk about how tariff is helping the economy!!! Follow tariff money trail when the goods arrives in the US! Get the US Customs chief in an interview to tell the naive MAGA and brainwashed Americans who are they collecting the tariff money from. That will end all these misleading lies about exporting countries paying for Trump's tariffs …period

    I suspect that these new data centres sit unused because the demand for processing doesn’t exist, not the lack of power. Where is the demand for AI? The free chat bots on consumer websites, creatives making funny clips or deepfakes, search engines and social media algorithms? It’s certainly not in corporate America where you have to pay to play and no one is paying when they’re still developing the game. It will take another decade for real adoption to occur and the shelf life on chips produced today will expire in a flash. Technology waits for no one and will quickly render current achievements obsolete in short order. International competitors are already established and buyers will always seek the best deal. The future is global.

    Bessent the bootlicker, you can tell he is lying just by his hesitation, and mumbling when answering questions. September grocery price numbers up 7% October will be ready in week or so. He lies about soy bean farmer, try’s to tell us grocery prices are not up. When do you think he was last in a grocery store. Keep in mind the hedge fund he ran was at 90% loss when he left it or they booted him out, but they have invested heavily in Argentina. Maybe that’s why he needs Trump to help Argentina, you think!!

    Share prices of many company's are based on speculative values rather than a percentage of income per share . Thus the stock market has become vastly out of touch with fiscal reality

    I remeber times ago the META owner spend million of $ to develop a flying solar power device and young engineer guy that did the same with few hunder $….be caureful because all those tech guys saw God at the end of tunnel but the reality is what you have under your nose everyday: you can find God at Church every Sunday morning.

    If you’re betting on what actually bites the US first, my money would be on:

    1. Chinese TFLN PIC production + integrated computing (CHIPX + TFLN accelerators)

    2. Chinese high-bandwidth photonic interconnect (Fudan + follow-ups)

    3. Photonic AI accelerators (Taichi-class chips and reconfigurable PIC fabrics)

    4. Russian niche photonic processors for specialized workloads (defense, sensing, secure networks)

    The US is still ahead overall, but it’s coasting too hard on GPUs and PR. China is explicitly picking the one layer (photonic post-Moore tech) where sanctions matter less and physics matters more.
