  1. Taiwan has historically been part of China. The Chinese have the right to take back the Taiwan. Japan should not defend Taiwan. The Japanese will be better off disengaging with the US agendas in the world. The US decline will be inevitable and the US allies might also suffer for their US support.

  2. No one in the Southeast Asia or Asia-Pacific regions wants war. The US is using Japan and the Philippines to provoke war with China whose economies are adjunct to the US (on a different level) and therefore are under pressure. The people of the Philippines are now disgruntled with their government due to corruptions of the people in government and therefore cannot make resolute decisions. The people in the Philippine government are seen to be playing with the US for personal monetary remunerations. Nothing more. Japan must maneuver its economy so that it will not collapse as that of the US economy is continuously collapsing.

  3. The lessons from Ukraine and Israel is that Iran, Russia and China MUST HIT HARD when attacked by US barbarians and their "allies", aka pawns, useful idiots and battering rams! Germany is asking for a piece of the action, with its "rebranded" Taurus missiles! Barbarians do not appreciate civil behaviour and patience! The only language a barbarian understands is a BLOODY NOSE! Barbarians see civilised behaviour as weakness!

  4. Like Iran, China's military build-up is aimed at defending itself against, and defeating the US military! Japan is just a footnote in China’s military planning! US running b*tch, Sanae Takaichi, should stop her delusion of grandiose regarding her minnow Japanese Army! Iran's military build-up was to fight the US military in West Asia, not USA's Mini-Me, Israel! Look at what happened to Bibi Mini-Me Netanyahu and the Israeli Army after just 12 days of bombardment by Iran! Netanyahu had to run to Donald Trump, crying and begging Donald to beg Iran for a ceasefire! The same will happen to Japan if Japan crosses China's Taiwan redline! Even the US regime knows that US Navy assets in South China Sea and East China Sea will be sunk in 20 minutes!

  5. Looks like US running dogs, Japan and Philippines, are lining up to kiss Trump's saggy balls! Sanae has forgotten that Japan still still owes big to China! Just make China's day!

  6. For once we disagree! Your trying to frame the present dispute in the context of western geopolitical thinking, and that is not the sentiment in Beijing at all. The history and cultural sensitivities should not be dismissed in light that Japan, unlike Germany, has still not acknowledged the atrocities it committed from 1931 to 1945 in China, and the region. China is patient, and such low-level talks leaves the door open to diplomacy, but Japan's PM exceeded her stature and her status in Asia, and the global community. She is not Margaret Thatcher, and that is not Ronald Reagan in the White House. China will respond delicately but forcefully in ways, diplomatically and economically, that will assuredly make the lady eat her words, when she is not eating American rice. China has, so far, calibrated its response to reinterpretations of "One China" policy, but Xi Jinping will never accept any Japanese "threat" of military support for Taiwan. She crossed-the-line, and everyone in Asia knows it. Everyone knows the US is recruiting military support to defend Taiwan, and China must respond resolutely and definitively to this provocation.

  7. China is prepping for invasion of the south Asian Seas , they are waiting for a trigger point . I think more countries must join in to deter CCP actual plan .

  8. If China were to invade Taiwan, Japan could use alternative sea routes to the west.

    China has repeatedly stated:

    1. Taiwan is part of China.
    2. External forces should not interfere in China’s internal affairs.

For example, if New York or California were to declare independence, and the Japanese Prime Minister said that if the U.S. invaded New York or California, Japan would send its military to fight against the U.S. because Japan felt threatened — would you respond to the U.S. in the same way as you now respond to China?

What would the U.S. do in such a scenario?

Actually, Japan is using the Taiwan issue to its advantage because Japan seeks to return to being a militaristic country like it was during World War II.

In fact, more than 100 years ago, Japan used similar excuses to attack China. Later, during World War II, Japan attacked the U.S. military base at Pearl Harbor.

  9. China should not give a damn with that barbaric murderous race and a war criminal in its attempt to provoke its giant neighbor. The game of death is what they are pursuing and China should resort to whatever harsh measure that is to punish that evil killer monster. We Chinese have unfinish score with them .

  11. Managed Instability ist ebendaffs in
    der Physik ein brauchbares Instrument.

    Zum Beispiel nutzen Überschall Flugzeuge
    die sogenannte Überkritische Auslegung
    der Flügelformen für deren Austeuerung
    in Flugmanövern.

Das hat bedeutende Vorteile bei einer
    raschen Änderung von Flugbewegungen.

    Was eine entscheidende positive Eigenschaft

  12. Jeffery, you are totally missing the point here in your interpretation of the event! If you want to understand the truth of the event's seriousness, you need to change your viewpoint of geopolitical angle but to view it from the historical angle. I rarely disappointed in your viewpoint on world affairs, but this is an exception, a fairly disappointing comment on the event.

  13. An ancient Chinese assessment of Japan: "Knowledgeable of small courtesies but lacking in righteousness, bound by trivialities but lacking in great virtue, valuing minor details over integrity and shame, fearing power but not cherishing virtue, the strong are bound to be thieves and bandits, the weak are bound to be subservient."

  14. Japan merely sent a low level officer to avoid serious insult and embarrassment from Beijing. Japanese has no sense of their criminal history in WWII.

  15. China would have to purge out all the offsprings of Japanese “deserters” if she wants a peaceful reunification. They are the ones serving Tokyo and until they are removed, Japan will continue to harbour the hope that they will one day in the future make it their 48 prefecture.

  16. I wish Japan would consent to too become the 51st state such as Hawaii did who has a huge Japanese population. Japan would make a great state who has a GDP of 4.5 trillion dollars a highly educated population, great work ethics and a low crime rate which is almost non-existent

  17. Professor Sach, your in-depth analysis is greatly appreciated. One other important fact worth to mention is that the aggressive nature of Japanese is always on the back of Chinese's mind and the distrust of Japanese is the same way as American toward Russian. Takaichi's remilitarization will certainly cause great concern about the repetition of the "Century of Humiliation" happened in the recent Chinese history. Time will tell how the situation will end while Chinese fire and fury continues.

  18. AI generated comments ,not the genuine remarks by Prof. J. Sach. Japan needs to stop interfering with China’s internal affairs as China avoids the affairs of Okinawa. Many Southeast Asians have not forgotten the atrocities in WW2

  19. Japan only promised no to say this again, but is not accepted by China. Why Japan won’t say this again? If this is unacceptable, you have to take it back, that is what China asking for

  20. China's woof/worrier attitude will only bring resentment from the FREE world. ccps attitude will bring pain to China and failure of everything gained in the last 30 years.

  21. Local Official: It Is Shocking to Me

Among the attendees was Michele D. Truitt, supervisor of the Township of East Goshen in Chester County, who said the film, “Almost leaves me speechless. I can’t believe the atrocity that is being committed against the Falun Gong. It’s a political and spiritual religious atrocity, much like the Holocaust.”

Michele D. Truitt, supervisor of the Township of East Goshen in Chester County, at the screening on November 1, 2025.

Truitt said that her mother received a kidney transplant recently so seeing the documentary especially touched her. She said her mother had a strict preparation process for the surgery. She said her mother’s three-month wait for the kidneys was considered “highly unusual,” as they had been previously told that they could face a waiting time of “anywhere from three to five years.” In contrast, she learned from the documentary that in China, vital organs can be matched and transplanted within days.

“It is shocking to me,” Truitt said. “They can just go over to China and say, ‘This is what I need.’ They get what they need. But what they don’t get is the understanding that they have to respect the gift they’ve been given. Because it’s not a gift; in that case, this is a business transaction. If it’s a business transaction, it’s just money that’s exchanging hands, and there’s no respect for what’s behind it on either side.”

Truitt called the practice “barbaric” and “a modern form of genocide.” She pledged to contact both her state and federal legislators. “I will make sure to tell at least 10 people about this,” she said. “It’s not about organs. It’s about all human lives. All human lives do matter.

“It’s upsetting to know that there’s a country out there with a political party in place that is promoting the disposal of their residents’ lives, and for what good? It’s only a money transaction,” Truitt said. “A gift of an organ really needs to be something much more connected than that.”

  22. Let me tell you one thing that is not widely known. After Japan was nuked by two atomic bombs and Japan was about to proclaim its surrender, a few hours before that happened, Chiang Kai Shek announced that China would not seek war reparations, to the surprise of everybody. Virtually overnight, this totally disarmed the right-wing Japanese spiritually. The Japanese newspaper used the word ‘Paying vile with virtue’ 以德报怨 to describe China. The Japanese general who instigated the 918 incident said China defeated Japan with its moral superiority. Chiang’s words make Japan, especially the right-wing, surrender to China not superficially but wholeheartedly.

However, over time, the Japanese right wing comes back again like an ember coming back to life (死灰复燃). Do you know why? Part of it is due to geopolitics. Part of it is due to Mao repeatedly thanking the Japanese for invading China when he met various visiting Japanese. One of those times was directly to a visiting Japanese prime minister. Imagine how this impacts the Japanese. Even the top leader of China openly thanks Japan for invading China. How can the Japanese right wing not make a comeback?

Anyway, if you are a patriot, you should ask for a revolution to overthrow the PRC so that China can regain the territories ceded to Russia and the territories that the PRC at one time offered to India and is currently occupied by India.

A revolution need not be bloody. It can be peaceful, or it can be just a little bloody. No dynasty lasts forever, and the PRC will eventually meet its demise. It is just a matter of time.

Nowadays, the PRC tries very hard to equate the PRC with China. Don’t let that fool you. Even though the PRC has the word China in it, it is definitely not China. The PRC is no different than the Yuan or Qing dynasties. It is a foreign entity and needs to be overthrown.

  23. Japanese is the one involved Taiwan and China internal affairs. The Japanese PM should step down. Doing stupid speech about Taiwan and China.
