Over the last 5 years, India's GDP per capita has grown at an average of 8%
The twin goal of creation of jobs for all sections of people and alleviating poverty should be our priority. Now, there is a huge divide between the haves and havenots. We must spend more on education, research and healthcare. Of course, India has progressed over the years. Per capita income does matter.

Problem with india is rampant corruption by politicians and govt employees (dogs). Economy is not a problem for billion people country.
What is that accent? It is not British, it is not American, not Aussie or Kiwi. Not Irish, not Scottish. Not South African. It is a little like how the non-English speaking Europeans sound like when they speak English, only their English is not so good. My guess is she must’ve grown up in a non native English speaking European country and then moved to an English speaking country.

Madam Gita is True…Per Capita is another key Goal to reach in parallel within the next two or three years, otherwise it has no meaning. If a family is rich and family members are poor, it won't serve our purpose. India's STRENGTH is that INDIA WOULD NEVER STIMULATES CONFLICTS or WARs on its own with other Countries leading to a GREATER INTERNAL STABILITY.
