金利上昇で国債費が41兆円に 財務省の後年度影響試算が判明(2026年2月19日)
今後3年間で国債の利払いなどに充てる国債費が約10兆円増えると試算されていることが分かりました。
財務省が将来の財政状況を試算した「後年度への影響試算」によりますと、一定の条件のもとで国債費は2026年度予算案の31.3兆円から2029年度には41.3兆円になると見込まれています。
金利上昇を背景に利払い費が大きく増え、2029年度は社会保障費の見込み額41兆円を超え、国債費が最大の費目となる試算です。
一方、税収も2026年度の83.7兆円から29年度は95.5兆円に約12兆円増える見通しですが、歳出全体の増加額はこれを上回るとしています。
市場では財政悪化の懸念から金利は上昇傾向にあり、想定よりも金利が高くなれば利払い費の増加が財政をさらに圧迫する恐れがあります。

財務省の試算で使われている将来の金利（3%〜3.6%程度）が、現在の市場の実態とかけ離れて高すぎる。利払い費を大きく見せることで、危機感を過剰に煽っている。政府が抱える膨大な資産（預金、外貨準備、貸付金など）に触れず、借金の総額だけを強調。バランスシートの片側だけを見せる手法が不誠実。日本は自国通貨建てで国債を発行しているため、理論上は財政破綻（デフォルト）は起こりえないと財務省自身も認めている。
