L’Iran autorizza il transito delle navi giapponesi attraverso lo Stretto di Hormuz | Colloqui con…

Iran has allowed Japanese vessels to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, who confirmed that discussions with Tokyo are currently underway. This development follows a similar arrangement with India, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spoken to the Iranian President over the Strait of Hormuz crisis after Indian vessels were affected. While some vessels have been allowed passage, most continue to remain stuck in the strait. The development comes as Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi recently met with the President of the United States and released a statement regarding support for US efforts to secure and free the Strait of Hormuz. Iran is now pursuing parallel dialogues with multiple nations regarding access to the strategic waterway.
