It's because men who were planning cities and discussing replanting trees, decided to plant male trees. Male trees have pollen. Female trees are the ones that have seeds and cones that are seed bearing, and men in power did not like the fact that you have to sweep up or rake up seed spinners such as from maple trees or have seeds such as acorns from oaks or hickory nuts or walnuts. So they planted male trees. And then they're surprised that people have pollen allergies from the pollen for male trees! Men made stupid choices.
Do you know how much it costs me in allergy meds and tissues, also time trying to explain what hay fever is to the USA population… It’s self explanatory.
The math isn't mathing. WWII was 80 years ago. 30 years ago was just 1995. Either the trees are waaaaaay older than 30 years or the trees were planted waaaaaay after WWII.
