I Went To Japan To See What The Hype Was All About
Japan has been called the best place to live on Earth – due to its economy, quality of life and safety. We spent a month traveling in Japan to find out what the secret is – how do they live, what is Japan doing right and what would it be like to live there? (And the United States will never figure it out).

💯 In Japan, they have the belief that "Our Japanese culture is a good culture, let's keep it that way!" We should be learning from them.
Also, how do you like how quit it is on the trains? No loud talking or screaming!
thats not a stand up thats a squat toilet.
The most civilized society in the world, love Japan!
Thanks to the Democratic Party in America for the destruction of anything worthwhile.
Japan is great because they are not "diverse" culturally. They are basically one race, one culture. I have a friend who is an urban planner and she's always pushing "mass transit" as a solution to the U.S, transportation issues and I told her no way will it ever work here because of all the crime and safety issues. Just look at the NYC subway system, the buses in places like Las Vegas or anything in the U.S. where more than one person is. Dirt, crime, etc.
you should go to China too to see what it's all about.
I don't know what Japan you went to. I lived in Japan in 1985. My rent was 900.00 a month. To move in you had to have your 1st and last plus a deposit. And less not forget the extra 900.00 you had to give to the home owner to thank them for living in there house. A small water melon was 40 dollars in 1985!. A big Mac at McDonald's was 12 bucks. It cost me 5.00 a gallon for gas in 85. Sooooo I don't know what Japan you were in. Hope you went all around Tokyo most of the old men sleep in a tent on the sidewalks or a pod. And by the way they do not put crimes in the news paper. If someone killed their whole family the only way you would hear about it was word of mouth. Now they have online but they don't broadcast bad crimes. In the 80s no online. And the people in Japan will hide their families dirty business. They are to worried about what others think.
You forgot to talk about what Late Stage Capitalism does to the economy, birth rate and its people.
Can you please visit the Happy Smiling Philippines and the Party Country Thailand! You will not regret it!
If you get rid of one particular group in the US, the crime rate becomes identical to Scandinavian countries.
Hi nick say hello to mappy enjoy your trip love your videos 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
GO MAPPY!!! YOU ARE SPOT ON!❤
Apparently because of social changes and work obligations there is an incredible amount of loneliness and isolation, especially with young men, some of which spend their whole lives alone in front of a computer. Lots of lonely old people who die alone. There are companies that specialize in cleaning up the mess left by dead bodies that have been laying in their homes for months on end…
My parents and I lived in a cold water flat in Tachikawa AFB base in Tokyo in the 60's. There was a gross community benjo ditch where locals would use for bathing and obtaining water. My dad said there would be someone taking a piss upstream while downstream someone would be washing their vegetables. My mother had to carry an umbrella to protect her and I when she would take me for a walk. Japanese women despised the white women and would pelt rocks at her. I'm assuming things have changed in 60 years because I never went back.
Mass stabbings?
This first thing I noticed that was pretty stark is the lower obesity rate in Japan.
Stand up urinal, lol
Lived in Osaka for 15 years. Left because Covid restrictions and mask requirements were insane. Those “stand up urinals” are squat toilets. Japan was much nicer before and American men were treated like rock stars by Japanese women, expecially in the countryside. Now, due to the low yen, and over-tourism, there is a growing resentment.
I have a cousin that is filthy. He clutters and litters. No Japan for him!
Japan shouldn’t allow China to buy their land. That isn’t healthy!
Nick visit Cambodia Angkor Wat 👍
I dont think the world's happiest nation would have the highest rate of suicides…but hey im not a scientist
Some of those houses look huge! Do they have their entire families living in one house?
I think that some Americans don't know what respect is? Somewhere American moral of has been forgotten! Your right Nick! Too many kids are being raised by phones while their parents are either working or on the street doing drugs!
