Myanmar nationals flee across Chinese borderーNHK WORLD-JAPAN NEWS

Since the 2021 coup, many thousands of people have fled from Myanmar to escape the ongoing civil war. There are now thought to be 300,000 Myanmar citizens living in and around the border city of Ruili in Yunnan Province, southwest China. However, life is far from easy for them.
