When tarifs on european made imported cars rise, who in China wants to buy them if you want to have assured and affordable maintenance of your car?
Janet Yellen when asked if she anticipates China retaliating after imposing 100% tariffs on Chinese EV's and her answer was ' I hope not'
When US can't compete, they put a tariff. Only loser does that. They thought China won't dominate this sector due to their radical electrification target. China beat them in their own game and now they don't have any plan to counter.
Only Amerricans get hit the most for all this sanctions.
China does not want pollution so it is ok to add taxes on big gas engines
China is dumping inventory that are subsidized by the government. This is 100% legal. China shock 1.0 devastating the world from an industrial base / employment standpoint. You cannot allow a country like China to do this again and they are trying to offset their horrible economic situation right now by doing exactly that.
All countries need to stop voting for socialist that don’t believe in free trade. Need free trade, spend less on military and stop encouraging wars!

Subsidies are only a problem when the majority of the resulting profits are not taxed in the USA.

The german car makers are very reliant on the chinese market. Near 40% of the cars they produce are exported to China. China is by far the biggest car market in the world. i read some where that the chinese where not very impressed by the cars the germans are trowing on the chinese market. vw has a problem with its ev sales in china, they are not selling near as well as hoped.
