People in Japan’s ancient capital of Nara have been enjoying an annual musical attraction featuring the city’s beloved wild deer. The event, known as ‘Shikayose,’ takes place in a field near Nara Par. The animals roam freely in the park and are a longstanding attraction there. About a hundred deer emerged from the trees and descended on a member of the local deer preservation foundation when he raised a horn to play Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony.
