  1. Japan stands to benefit greatly from Trump's heavy tariffs on China. Japan's tariffs on imports are pretty mild and some have been totally eliminated as the yen declines. I can see a lot of manufacturing moving back to Japan, with its currency being so weak against the dollar. Also, "de-carbonization" has absolutely nothing to do with generating or supplying power. The only thing it CAN do is make electricity more expensive until we get breakthroughs in solar and energy storage that will close the gap between renewables and fossil fuels.
