A number of particularly harsh but compulsory lessons for the American people are being laid out in front of them. First is how to open their eyes to reality. Second is how to acknowledge that there is a problem that has far reaching consequences that reach well-beyond their country's borders. Third is realising that they themselves made that problem by electing the kind of people who are ridiculously unfit for the positions they now hold. The fourth is how best to address that problem. There are more and more hard lessons to come as the days and months roll along and the difficulty will rise continuously to disaster levels making it that much more urgent for them to learn as quickly as possible. History tells us that there have been so many kingdoms, empires, and countries that have been risen to greatness once upon a time, declined, and faded to obscurity, irrelevance, or outright inexistence. Not one of them learned their lessons. Let's hope that this time, America, is truly an exception that its citizens believe it to be.

Karoline Leavitt says on live press conference that tariff is a tax on foreign countries which is bluntly a lie. The true reason why Trump insists on applying tariffs on all imported goods is to collect revenue to compensate for the tax cuts that he would give to his billionaire friends. That’s plain simple economics.
