India's GDP was 2.1 trillion in 2015 not 2.4 trillion.
150 cr population and then calculate per capita income or gdp
We can economically, politically, militarily but we have to devlop other ways.
Good info. & congratulations to my fellow citizens. But why to tap ourselves? The current government has strived a lot from the past 10 yrs, but this ain't enough unless per capita income raises. As per world bank, we are still a lower middle income country with less income standards & earnings.
We don't follow traffic rules, civic manners, no control on birth rates for muslims, no social behavior, no uniformity in rules across states, dirty streets, inefficient urban & rural infra, healthcare is very low, spitting on roads, do not follow que systems, animals on roads, litter every where, no social responsibility, narrow streets, under lifestyle standards, very low human development index, INR exchange value still low compared to even Thailand, illegal immigrants can't be kicked back, no citizens registry till date, no care about public properties, etc. etc. & the list doesn't end. Then why should we be proud for?? Just for GDP numbers !!
Even another 100 yrs, we will be still a lower income country. My grandfather has seen this & now grandson is experiencing this still. Generations move on, but we are standstill.
Given the current speed India should be able to surpass Japan by the end of 2025

Not a big achievement tbh, if not for Demonetization, flawed GST implementation, and Covid-19, we would have easily surpassed 5 trillion dollars by now.
