    There are no exemptions, the US is not a piggy bank, all we want is a fair exchange of money and goods.

    If Japan wants things from us, then we’ll need something in exchange, fair trade on all sides

    Hmmm. Japan has a 700% tariff on rice from the US. Make your excuses but the truth is no one HAS to import rice from the US if it’s if inferior quality. There is quality as good or better than many Japanese growers in Texas and Louisiana and even in South Carolina. But Japan puts a 700% tariff on that. Oh but the US is unfair. Ok. Double standard work fine for sociopaths.

    You know, Americans love the Japanese. Love their culture. Love their people. Love their products. But we don’t owe them trade imbalances that favor the Japanese. Your people have gotten soft and stupid. My mother is Japanese. Even she says that. She survived the Fat Boy dropped on Nagasaki. Her parents both died of TB and she was orphaned. She watched her baby sister starve to death because of dysentery which the Americans should’ve given them medicine for. The Americans didn’t do all they should have after they devastated Japan but now it owes Japan nothing. Because the generation of my mother were tough as nails and smart as hell. Amazing. Extraordinary. And they’ve let their children become soft and stupid. Stop it. Please just be self sufficient and don’t ask anyone to carry your load. Be the great Japanese again.

    Trump may again uses tariffs as a negotiation tool, which is in fact always his position. This "tariff chaos" could be the beginning to bring the whole world to re-negotiate with the US on bringing back manufacturing into the US (in the long run). Why is it important? Since the US can't afford to be left behind by China in manufacturing (it technically has been for a long time), especially on defense production. This would be vital when an open conflict manifests.

    tesla, x-box, apple, the whole food sector, allready overpriced and of poor quality.. they can keep that for themself😂

    Trump isn't very smart, his minions are simply following the cult leader. Tariffs will not bring back manufacturing jobs to the US, they will be a permanent inflation hike in prices. Tell me one corporation that would LOWER prices if the tariffs were lifted. No way, they will still charge the consumer the same price and pocket it as profits.
