QUBIT
QUBIT brings together an impressive lineup of musical talent: Daoko (Vo), known for her hit songs and unique artistic vision; Nagai Seiichi (Gt), an acclaimed guitarist, songwriter, and producer for various artists; Suzuki Masato (Ba), bassist for LITTLE CREATURES and a successful producer; Amimori Shohei (Key), who’s gained recognition for his work in film/TV music as well as collaborations with pop artists like Taeko Onuki and Harada Tomoyo; and Oi Kazuya (Dr), a sought-after drummer in both live and studio settings. The band’s name, QUBIT, refers to the smallest unit in quantum mechanics. Active from April 2023, they released their debut single, G.A.D. in June and quickly gained attention, including a feature in the NO MUSIC, NO LIFE. @ ad campaign. Their first album, 9BIT, released in November 2023, topped the J-POP/Kayokyoku category in MUSIC MAGAZINE’s 2023 genre-based rankings.
