California’s economy overtakes another country, now 4th-biggest in world

Gov. Gavin Newsom made the announcement this week that the state’s gross domestic product surpassed Japan’s, the Los Angeles Times reports.

    This is a story that leaves out the real reason Kalifornia moved up. Other countries economies are shrinking or failing! Japan has been on the brink of collapse for decades now. Just like the USA they have staved off collapse by printing money and devaluing their currency. They also offer very low interest rates on Yen based loans that international "customers" use to buy other assets like US T-bills which pay higher interest.

    Also, Kalifornia is $1,600,000,000,000 in DEBT or about $45,000 per man, woman, and child. That debt is more than the GDP of most countries, almost edging out South Korea and Australia's total annual GDP!

    Based on what statistic? California is in debt, people are over taxed, cost of living is the highest in the country, tourism is actually way down and victims of natural disasters are still in need of help!
