Something that you didn’t mention: JAL has a “touch and go” system in domestic flights, where you can directly head to security without checking in if you have your seats reserved in advance/don’t have checked baggage.

I arrived at Fukuoka airport 2 hour before departure to fly to Haneda airport. Yes, the boarding time was 20 minute before departure. I didn’t have to arrive at the airport so early.

I'm surprised both Japanese airlines didn't serve snacks or a meal on the flights. Singapore Airlines serves a meal on their approx 1 hr flight on their Singapore to Kuala Lumpur route.
