The Internet isn't a reason. This would be like saying tourism is no longer appealing because we can now live vicariously through travel vloggers.
Japan is a first-world country. Most native Japanese obviously don't have an economic incentive to leave when they know they could accomplish all of their career goals in their home country.
The real reason that wasn't mentioned is the language barrier. Not being able to speak anything but Japanese is going to make adjusting to a new country extremely difficult. Secondarily, Japanese culture is highly insular (for better or worse).
