Tokihayate [時疾風] – GRAND SUMO Profiles
Toki Hayate, a skilled grappler, first fought as a professional in March [Applause] 2019. At the March 2025 tournament, he went on hard in the initial charge to grab a belt hole, getting up close and personal to take his opponents down. He built up a strong head of steam to win six consecutive victories in the latter half of the tournament. In just his fourth tournament in the top division, he managed to reach doubledigit wins. In the process, achieving his first winning record. Now he’s on a roll. Tokihayate hopes to become a permanent fixture inside the top division.
