Fixing the japanese birthrate problem is not that hard, just fix their insane workload laws.
"not many people are willing to move to Japan long term." Actually, many people would like to do so, much more than the population of Japan currently is willing to accept.
omg, I was not expecting that ending .. 🤣❤
Tough to grow an economy when your population is declining rapidly….
Japan may have to import energy, but Australian gas is cheaper in Japan than in Australia.
People always comparing Chinese products with Japan. Different clientele. So don’t blame China for anything.
Japan has planned for a decline to 100M…they cast their gaze to the USA, UK, EU and just.."No thanks, we are not obliged to be so glued to GDP that we will upend the entire stability of a nice tidy society to keep the spreadsheet people happy". The End. If only the UK had done the same.
Japan is basically one party dictatorship for 30 years
The correct language is FEWER children, not less children. People are counted, numbered, not measured by volume.
Informative. Thank you.
Everyone is in deep trouble apparently ….we call it…. life
I heard that the American liberals are moving out, maybe they should go to Japan to help with the population . 😂
Imagine how much better the USA would be if Joe Biden resigned in the first year of his failed administration.
Only Ukraine economy is ok in the hole world every one else are bankrupt
FEWER not less!
They all killed themselves. A man gets a young girl, finish raising her, make her pregnant and teach kids to work land and repeat. No electronics. And plenty privacy. Keep that shit out of here.
I was studying bamboo today. All kinds of stuff can be dine with that. Including eating. I ever get on that property thats what im doing. Looking like ill have all of it.
The biggest problem with Japan's economy isn't the debt. It's the government's failure to implement effective economic stimulus measures and its refusal to cut taxes. Japan's debt is not a problem at all.
Believe it or not, the Japanese Ministry of Finance is deliberately exaggerating the size of the debt.
For example, you mentioned that 25% of the national budget is spent on interest payments every year, but that's incorrect.
In reality, 15% of that figure is not for interest payments on government bonds, but for refinancing those bonds. Other countries don't include this in their budgets.
The remaining 10% is for actual interest payments, but since the Bank of Japan owns half of the government bonds, it receives interest income. Subtracting that, the actual interest payment is only about 5%.
People are angry because the government refuses to cut taxes, even though tax revenue exceeded expectations by 10 trillion yen (67 billion USD) this year.
Sayonara.
To the debt fear mongers. Japanese bonds are mostly held by japanese nationals. The bonds are a net asset for the private sector and its used in large margin by pensions as a safe asset.
really enjoy your non political show……just news is great…and love the different art pieces you rotate on the show….thanks
Finally, the worst prime minister, Ishiba, has resigned. His predecessor, Kishida, whose relatives run a staffing company, made huge profits from the immigration business. Both Ishiba, a globalist with a love for communism, and Kishida were not engaged in politics for the people but were traitors devoted entirely to lining their own pockets and destroying Japan. Most political parties are garbage.
Why has the population declined? Because the government’s taxation is severe and its economic policies are disastrous. With low incomes, people cannot even afford to get married. Politicians scatter money around the world, collect kickbacks, and line their own pockets. On top of that, they delude themselves into thinking they are “elites.” Misgovernment is the cause of the population decline.
