Japan Is Rearming. Here’s Why That Matters

Japan just delivered a historic supermajority to a nationalist prime minister determined to rewrite its pacifist legacy. From missiles to Taiwan, here’s why Japan’s dramatic rearmament reshapes Asia’s balance of power.

  1. Sanae Takaichi is not a left-wing politician like Angela Merkel and most Eurocrats. She leads the traditionalist and patriotic wing of the Liberal Democratic Party, which won the majority. This also explains her deep friendship with Giorgia Meloni. Only in this way could the party achieve this outstanding election result. Former Prime Ministers Fumio Kishida and Shigeru Ishiba are considered by the majority of the Japanese people to be—please pay attention—pro-Chinese traitors who opened the floodgates to immigration. It's worth noting that Japan's population is still 97% homogeneous. The Japanese don't allow what happened in Europe "thanks" to the progressives to happen.

Furthermore: Sanae Takaichi has won the hearts of 90% of young people. Japan's Gen Z doesn't think like their counterparts in Europe.

  2. Japan is completely justified in wanting to build up.. NK has shot missiles in their direction in tests.

Im not worried about a US/Japan war again.. honestly we could use a stronger Japan in the pacific and if we can get them to work together SK.

  3. Japan will first take on Philippine, they are weak it can be easy, it offers cheap man power and women labor good for Japanese needs. And the natural resource, of course.

  4. 戦わなければ内部から侵略されて終わりです
    すでに日本国内には中国のスパイが何人もいます
    日本自治区とか言ってるんだぞあいつら

  5. I think there is a high possibility that by 2040 Japan will have the fifth or fourth largest military power in the world.

  6. It sounds like Takaichi was elected based on "Vibes". I hope for Japan's sake that she is actually competent. America chose "vibes" over competency in 2016 and again in 2024. America now has Gestapo murdering civillians in the street and an economy racked with inflation while unemployment and real wages decrease.

  7. Japan re-arming is a good thing. But there is one critical part of the new battlefield that the west is collectively failing to address. The information war. Social media needs to be purged of lies and disinformation. Social media apps need to be stripped of their addictive algorithms that are incentivizing people to stay in and doom scroll instead of living life.

Until these issues are addressed, Japan and every other Democratic nation is heading toward collapse.

  8. Japan's problems can easily be solved if the government stops causing them.
Stop the poison of socialism, counter-feiting, terrorist attacks and other government programs.
Same applies to pretty much all governments.
Starmer has done the opposite. He keeps importing endless numbers of migrants and implements sharia law.

  9. The birth rate issue is SIMPLE to fix. Lower the taxes taken from
Men so they can afford a family. And don’t have to work 6-7 days a week at 12 hours daily.

  10. When you have a crazy China, irrational DPRK, and a US Democratic Party that will stab you in the back in seconds…….time for BANZAI!

  11. Peaceful Asian countries doing their own business at thier backyards*

China: starts yapping and crying 😩😩😩

  12. China go ahead and poke the dragon remember the beating you got last time they got froggy and this time we're on their side

  13. She's basically Japan's Margaret Thatcher, just more rright wing. That she's managed to pass herself off as "cool" is of course a novum in Japan. It's basically their form of populism.

  14. You don't have to be a sociologist to know if you give young people better opportunities to get married and have children people would. Opportunities like better pay and less work hours so young people can have more money and more time to have relationships.

  15. It's necessary measure since their location are close to North Korea and China so they need to be able to defend themselves. Maybe Japanese also think that way or not. I don't know 🤷😅
