With disruptions hitting the Strait of Hormuz, Japan, which imports 95% of its oil from the Middle East, is currently sitting on just 250 days of crude oil and 3 months of natural gas. We haven’t seen an energy shock like this since 1973.

  1. Is the 250 days including oil/liquid fuel exports?

    For LNG, wouldn’t Japan just increase supply for gas from Australia?
