Bert Hofman, adjunct professor at the East Asian Institute at the National University of Singapore, said claims of China’s overcapacity don’t live up to the numbers.

China only exports 10 to 15 percent of electric vehicles, much less than Japan and Germany.

While there’re 140 car companies in China, most of them don’t do any exports as well.

  1. China should reduce the manufacturing of the US produce only, to show that that they are listening to the US. This will help the US with their inflation.

  2. Us politicians choosing that to nitpick on sure is hilarious when the us has miles and miles of car graveyards full of unsold, brand new cars that are left to rot

  3. You can absolutely believe the manufactured numbers this gentleman was given by the Chinese gov. They are manicured and perfected. 😂
