China Says Open to Talks If US Shows Respect
US President Donald Trump will attend a meeting with Japan to discuss tariffs, American military support, and “trade fairness”.
The US Treasury and Commerce departments are leading the discussions, with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent prioritizing Japan and envisioning agreements with Japan and other military allies to apply economic pressure on China.
China has not committed to talks yet, but has expressed willingness to start discussions under certain conditions, including more respect from the US and a designated point person for talks. Bloomberg’s Tyler Kendall reports.

Not true !
cool, MAGA
Respect for China from Canada 👌
Negotiating with a bully only negatively reinforces bad behavior as it signals to the bully that what they're doing gets them what they want.
I know China well. Their leaders are capable but these people are soft hearted. That is why they are always being bullied not only by America but by other smaller nations who take advantage of of US aggression to ask for more from China. China will be tough to them, but if u show them respect, they would straightaway reciprocate with their own form of sincerity. This is their character. But other countries lack the sincerity as the leaders are mostly populist leaders. So it always the same thing: Other countries bully China, China retaliate , other countries suffers from the retaliation and ask for normalisation of ties, China say ok and gave them some goodies. After sometimes, US ‘ work together’ with those countries and bully China again . China see red once more. And the similar pattern repeats. It is always like this. This trade war will the same. Trump will definitely give in because on all fronts, there is no way of winning.
CCP Propaganda 101
Ever noticed how every time someone criticises the CCP online, a swarm of freshly minted accounts appear to “educate you” with suspiciously identical replies?
Yeah, we see you CCP muppets and china shills.
👀 Fake profiles pretending to be from countries other than china.
📢 Coordinated spam.
🧹 Mass replication of the same comments, spitting out the same garbage.
🎭 Pretending to be “concerned locals” while pushing Beijing’s script.
This isn’t grassroots — it’s state-sponsored gaslighting.
From TikTok to Facebook, Instagram, X and YouTube, China’s influence operations are easily identifiable, weak and pathetic attempts of manipulation:
🧨 Burying real news with distraction spam
💬 Hijacking comment sections to drown out dissent
🤖 Using bot armies to manufacture “support”
🌐 Flooding global platforms with disinformation dressed as “patriotism”
All while banning foreign apps at home. Classic authoritarian hypocrisy.
And why?
To hide a collapsing economy, demographic disaster, and a regime that’s more scared of free speech than a balloon over Montana. Nice try, CCP. But we see you all and what you are trying to do. We are all sitting back and laughing at you!
Whatever the outcome; the brand USA has become toxic like a leaking battery worldwide. Good luck changing that perception again.
China and the United States are now two equal superpowers in the world. If they cannot respect each other and treat each other equally, China will take the attitude of being willing to break up. Until now, you guys are still pretending to not understand like Trump.
China agrees to negotiate with preconditions, if the US can't be equal and respectful, then get lost. I hope the US media won't use this kind of headline to deceive the world people anymore.
this woman's voice is so fkn annoying.
Trump really thinks China is worried, lol. Meanwhile, they’ve got massive savings in their national reserves, and the U.S. is drowning in trillions of debt. Wonder who’ll be laughing in the end.
Just give China Taiwan. But demand reparations for 280,000 fentanyl deaths caused by China.
Asking America and Donald Trump to show respect to other countries??? Really. Good to know China has a sense of humour.😏😏😏😏 But this just shows China is not ready to talk for making such impossible and unreasonable demand.😅😅😅😅
It might have been a different story if the Trump administration had avoided imposing sweeping tariffs on over a hundred countries in an attempt to force concessions. A more strategic and diplomatic approach could have been taken—such as utilizing New York City as a neutral venue to host a global summit. This gathering could include representatives from the G7, G20, and key international blocs such as Latin America, ASEAN, the African Union, the Arab League, and BRICS. The aim would be to engage in transparent dialogue about trade imbalances and express genuine concerns not only about trade but also about the sustainability of U.S. deficits.
Discussions could have focused on developing a more equitable financial system—perhaps a modernized Bretton Woods 3.0 or even 5.0—to help maintain the U.S. dollar’s role as the global reserve currency. At the same time, the U.S. could introduce a digital dollar blockchain to modernize the global monetary architecture. The summit could also serve as a platform for forging new international agreements on pressing global issues such as artificial intelligence governance, climate change, and diplomatic compromises—particularly regarding the conflicts in Ukraine, NATO-Russia relations, and peace-building efforts between Israel and the Arab world. Ultimately, it would make sense to invite global partners to such a forum, especially since many of them are investors in U.S. securities and have a shared interest in a stable and sustainable American economy. Peace
Dont talk to a person name"Kissmyass"
telling a dumbo tyrant to be nice?
Xi: KISS MY ASS‼️😆🤣😂
🇨🇳 is flexing its muscle to united states and showing chinese economic dominance.
🇺🇸 In 2022-2024 illegal Chinese immigrants come to the United States of 350,000 individual.
China does not need the USA. They have been moving away from dollar dependency. What will happen if China unloads the US debt they are carrying? Threat of Brexit will increase. Trump's tariffs just escalating the US downfall.
India must find its spine first to resist surrender, cowardice and subservience before posturing that they are the leader/voice of the Global South or the Vishwaguru (global teacher of the entire world) or China's equal. The whole world saw A failed state begs and grovels at the feet of its master during the 14 Feb 2025 Press Conference between Trump and Modi😅🤭How unsightly it is.🙏
Respect? trump is a thug from NY he is too ignorant to show respect. his disrespect of Canada and its leader will never be forgotten or ever be forgiven.
On the same week during China's Xi visit to Vietnam/Malaysia/Cambodia, Philippines Consul General in Osaka, Voltaire D. Mauricio, said to China on 16/17 of April 2025:
"Filipinos blood flows in Chinese blood". 🤣
"Philippines and China are brothers". 🤣
That is after America awards 17% tariffs on Philippines.🤣
Oh, how fast the scripts have changed when one needs financial aid from the other.☺
China did not backtrack and has always been consistent with their 125%. Zero concessions. USA made concessions after issuing tariffs, not just once but thrice
1) 90 days pause after some countries were dumping US treasury bonds (2nd week of April 2025)
2) tariff exemptions on China's pharma, mobiles, laptops, chips and electronics after China retaliated with 125% (excluding agriculture tariffs) against 145% (2nd week of April 2025)
3) Iphone from China exempted from tariffs. (3rd week of April 2025)
Basically, China saw USA making concessions but uh China saw the surrender wasn't enough and say you need to surrender more. 145% to 0% before talk.
Trump can't show our ALLIES respect..it's not something he does for anyone but Putin.
NO NEED TO RESPECT BUNCH OF COMMUNIST DICKHEADS!
Trump and his gang of white supremacist imperialists will learn just how tough the chinese people are. The world will watch laughing while he wonders why they won’t “worship or support him.”
Trump doesn't have the brain power
