It's BJP propaganda. India is 143rd globally in 2025, with a nominal GDP per capita of $2,937.
China's GDP per capita is estimated at $28,978 in 2025, ranking it 72nd worldwide. GDP per capita is around $13,688 in 2025, placing it at the 69th position globally.
Where's India? At 144th rank.
Meanwhile Japan's PPP adjusted GDP per capita is estimated to be $54,678 in 2025, ranking 38th Japan is estimated to be at $33,956 in 2025, ranking 34th globally.
