Death Rate by Country #India #Germany #Japan #US #World

Crude death rate indicates the number of deaths occurring during the year, per 1,000 population estimated at midyear. Subtracting the crude death rate from the crude birth rate provides the rate of natural increase, which is equal to the rate of population change in the absence of migration.

  1. India's current death rate is 9.1 and countries like Japan and Germany are developed nations, meaning they have an older population and less birth rate. Meaning more old people compared to a healthy young population, so their death rate is higher. China too, due to one child policy. So basically, india is the worst here because we have a mostly young population who are less prone to die by old age and die due to lack of health services. Death rate when compared alongside the population pyramid gives the correct idea about countries development. Maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rates are the direct indicators of countries development, and sadly for India, it's high.
