π―π΅ Japan’s automotive industry has a problem! #japan #ev #emobility #evcharging
Japan’s automotive industry has a billion dollar problem and this could affect the country’s entire economy Japanese companies were global leaders in Innovation within the automotive industry providing us with your first commercially used AC and DC charging standard they could achieve this because they were stubborn they believed in their ideas and executed their decisions even if no one else outside of Japan believed in them but what happened well the rest of the world was not so impressed what the Japanese were doing back in the day as especially foreign automotive Industries governments and of course the oil lobby as they were not pleased of 52 m per gallon or 4.5 lit fuel consumption cars back in 1997 it was a shock that Toyota tried to reduce fuel consumption through their Technologic electronic Advantage which everyone else lacked it was later also shocked that Nissan started the mass production of the first fully electric car back in 2010 but the Japanese automotive industry refused intern National corporations within the field of immobility as a result the foreign automotive industry started demonizing those Technologies or they were going their own path like in EV charging it was mostly themselves and the foreign ignorance of Japanese achievements which impacted in a very bad way so that the Japanese automotive industry fall back into diverse characteristic within the Japanese culture the one which actually made them successful to be stubborn and the stopped taking other opinions into account anymore wrong Pride wasted billions of dollars and created several International flops like the Lexus ux300e the Mazda mx30 EV and Toyota’s bz 4X

If the Japanese automotive industry does not radically change its course within the next six months, it risks losing the dominance it still holds in certain regions and markets. In the future, Japanese manufacturers may find themselves confined to serving only their domestic market.
The Japanese automotive industry has squandered its global lead due to false pride and stubbornness. This can be attributed both to a lack of acceptance and appreciation for advancements in hybrid and electric vehicle technology and to the Japanese mentality itself.
Toyota, alongside Mercedes-Benz, once made a significant investment in Tesla Motors and collaborated on the Toyota RAV4 model. However, both manufacturers quickly divested their stakes and ceased research in this area for an extended period.
Japanese engineers were once pioneers in developing the first EV charging standards, J1772 (Type 1) and CHAdeMO. Nevertheless, there are clear reasons why the global automotive industry has moved away from these standards. In Japan, it was assumed that foreign stakeholders would not be able to catch up with Japanβs lead in EV charging technology. As a result, there was little willingness to compromise or collaborate with international players.
This assumption proved to be a misjudgment; otherwise, standards like NACS, CCS-2, and GB/T would not exist today.
It is time for the global automotive industry to exert pressure on Japan to adopt the NACS EV charging standard, as no western manufacturer, apart from Tesla, can currently achieve significant sales volumes in the Japanese automotive market.
However, it is important to emphasize that not the entire Japanese automotive industry reflects an anti-EV stance. Some players have recognized the benefits of EVs and are actively promoting their development.
If the Japanese automotive industry fails to realize that it must become more flexible and instead should take inspiration from the Chinese automotive industry, it risks collapse. This would have severe consequences for Japanβs economy as a whole.

So to understand, Japan invented a wheel and so later on every one invented The same wheel at cost of money? Where is efficiency? So sad about ecology and so on.
