Japan & EU HUMILIATE Trump in trade war

So, Donald Trump, the bankruptcy business person, is failing to get deals. In fact, he’s now admitting that he can’t get a deal with Japan. And both Japan and the EU are standing strong against Trump. That’s summed up today’s video. And let’s just jump right in. This is the headlines. Trump stands firm on July 9th trade deadline as president says deal with Japan is unlikely. Let’s have a listen to what he has to say about this.
Mr. President extending the pause on tariffs and beyond a lot of
No, no, I’m not. I’m not thinking about the pause. Uh, I’ll be writing letters to a lot of countries and I think you’re just starting to understand the process. We’ve dealt with Japan. I’m not sure if we’re going to make a deal. I doubt it with Japan. They’re very tough. You have to understand they’re very spoiled. I love Japan. I I really like the new prime minister, too. Hobby was one of my closest friends as you know. The new prime minister is is great. He’s a very strong guy, but they and others are so spoiled from having ripped us off for 30, 40 years that it’s really hard for them to make a deal. You know, it’s very hard. As an example, with Japan, uh they won’t take rice and yet they desperately need rice. You know that. But they won’t take rice. Uh they won’t take other products that we have. But think of it, they need rice so badly, but they won’t take rice. I fig that was an easy one. Uh on the cars, as you know, they send out billions. We we didn’t give them one car in 10 years. They won’t take any cars.
So, the funniest thing about Trump, and he does it quite a bit, is when he insults people, he’s really talking about himself. He’s like, “Oh, the Japan, they’re just they’re just so spoiled and they can’t get any deals.” Like, if you if you understand that Trump’s like basically a spoiled, you know, kid that can’t get his way and he starts kicking and screaming, right? You know those kind of kids, you’ll see them in the grocery store. Mommy, mommy, why can’t I have the lollipop? And the mommy’s like, “All right, shut up, kid.” Right? Like it’s it’s that’s basically who Trump is. And um the other thing I thought was kind of funny about this is you see like Karen Levit sort of peeking in the background there. What’s going on there, Trump? I know it’s serious, but it’s like this is a total clown show. It’s obvious, and it keeps getting worse. Now, I I honestly don’t know how long this can continue. Um, I knew Trump was deranged, but he you just see him spiraling. Um, Donald Trump threatens to raise tariffs again on Japan. Good luck with that. And then he’s just start going off about, well, I’m going to send him a letter. Nasty letter. This, that’s this is Bloomberg, Japan’s trade strategy tested as Trump pushes for quick deals. And you have to understand who Trump is, okay? He’s a reality TV star. He wants to make reality television. He’s concerned about TV ratings. and he wants his like quick exciting deals. And from Trump’s point of view, the July 9th thing is kind of like the Bachelor where like, hey, find out next week who gets the final rose, right? He he’s thinking in terms of TV show. And if people don’t want to be on his TV show, Japan’s like, “I don’t want to be in your TV show.” And EU is like, “I don’t want to be on your TV show. Like, what the f are you talking about?” Um, then he gets upset. He’s upset when people don’t want to play part of his TV show. Um, this is Trump tweeting out also to show how spoiled countries have become with respect to United States of America and I have great respect for Japan. They won’t take our rice and yet they have massive rice shortage. In other words, we’ll just be sending them a letter and we’ll have them as a trading partner for many years to come. All right, let’s send more letters. Uh, this is Trump here talking about the letter stuff. I’ll write him a letter say we thank you very much and uh we know you can’t do the kind of things that we need and therefore you’ll pay a 30% 35% or whatever the number is that we determined because we also have a very big trade deficit with Japan as you know and it’s very unfair to the American people. uh they maybe will be happy, they maybe won’t be happy, but some countries we won’t even allow to trade. But for the most part, we we’re going to determine a number just very simply write them a nice letter, probably one page or a page and a half at the most. And it’s going to be essentially congratulations and it’s going to be an honor to allow you to go and do business in the United States of America because it really is an honor to be able to do that. I as as Trump says, it’s an honor to do business, right, with with them. And uh I mean, h how and this is this is actually the struggle for anyone who, you know, has any kind of intelligence or any sort of sanity. Like, how do you talk about Trump when he’s when he’s clearly deranged? I mean, it’s it’s obvious. Um I I don’t think I’ve ever heard a president talk like this of like, “Wow, I I can’t seem to get a deal, so we’re just going to send him a letter and it’ll be an honor to get my letter.” I I I don’t think I’ve ever heard this kind of stuff. Um I want to go over a couple things too also with this. It’s very similar when we talked before. You can find my other video on this. Um on say Australia uh you know in Australia just for example um Trump say wants to sell uh American meat to Australia but Australia has standards. They’re just like hey your your food doesn’t meet our standards. We we can’t trace where the beef comes from from you know say from birth all the way to to market. we want to, you know, see the whole history of said thing. We don’t necessarily want chemicals uh in the meat, so we’re not taking it. And from the Trump people’s point of view, it’s like, why don’t you take our chemical meat? Like, that’s that’s everyone else takes our chemical meat, right? That’s that’s just what we’re talking about here. Or or the car situation is kind of a a weird one. Also, just to be clear, um if you want to sell products in another country, make good products. Make products that people want to buy, right? For example, people buy iPhones all around the world. I have an iPhone. I like my iPhone, right? I always use iPhone as example. I like my iPhone. I I buy Apple computers. Um I I don’t, you know, um have to, you know, buy uh the Apple just because it’s American. I I buy something because I because I like the product. So, say for example in Japan or or Europe, if America is going to make like these really really big vehicles or say Tesla’s going to make Cybert trucks and they’re just not popular in that market, they’re not going to buy it. And so, from the Trump people’s point of view is like, oh, they’re cheating us because they don’t want to buy our Tesla Cybert trucks. And I just want you to understand what what’s going on here. It’s frankly crazy. Um, and this is essentially what what America is trying to do right now under Trump. uh they’re trying to sell, you know, products around the world um that other markets may not want. Um be it American food or cars. Cars is a big one. He keeps talking about that stuff. Um let’s see what else is going on here. Uh this is actually an interesting one. Uh US narrows trade focus to secure deals before Trump uh Trump’s tariff deadline. And the basic gist, I’ll give the summary uh is that they they know that this is a TV show. They know they got that July 9th deadline coming forward. Uh and so what they want to do is they basically create a bunch of you know frameworks or you know sort of fake deals in a way right um that’s what they did with the UK is like hey let’s agree on a framework that’s sort of what they’re trying to do with China hey let’s agree well the China one was more like hey let’s agree to keep talking um you know there’s no deals here and I I’ll give you example this is um Financial Times I’ll read it with you guys it says Donald Trump’s uh top trade officials are scaling back their ambitions for comprehensive reciprocal deals with foreign countries seeking nar arrower agreements to avert the looming reimposition of the US tariffs, right? So, um, basically the Trump people are retreating. They’re trying to go some for something small. They just need something, right, to to to show Trump and keep his TV show going. Uh, four people familiar with the talk said US officials were seeking phased deals with most engaged uh countries as a race to find agreements by July 9th when Trump has vowed to reimpose his harshest levies. The narrower peacemeal plan for new trade uh new deals marks a retreat from the White House vow to strike 90 trade deals during the 90-day pause in a sweeping quote reciprocal terrorist. Right? So, you’re not going to get the 90 deals in 90 days. I don’t think it’s going to happen. Um but it also offers some countries a chance to strike modest agreements. The administration would seek quote agreements in principle. Right? So, they just want to get these frameworks down on a small number of trade disputes ahead of the deadline. So, good luck with that. No deals. Um, EU toughened stance on Donald Trump’s tariffs as deadline looms. Basically, the EU is actually doing a pretty similar tactic is China. They’re saying, “We don’t want to talk to you. We’re not going to continue negotiations unless you drop the tariffs.” That’s basically what it is. I’ll show you guys. Says here, “European capitals have hardened their position in trade talks with Donald Trump.” So, the EU is standing standing strong. you can see it insisting the US reduces its tariffs on the EU immediately as part of any framework deal before the looming deadline of July 9th. Um, trade commissioner uh Morose Sakovic has instructed to take a tougher line on a trip to Washington this week as Brussels tries to remove or at least substantially cut Trump’s levies in the long term. So again, uh, EU is standing strong, Japan standing strong, Trump’s admitting he can’t get a deal. That’s sort of where we at right now. And um then you have to understand and put this in context um the job situation is not great in in USA. So from Trump’s point of view, he’s going to try to sell um you know, oh my economy is great. Look at all these deals I got to make, right? And then he goes to his trade people is like, hey guys, where’s the deals? I need to like show people stuff. I need to keep the TV show going. And so then, you know, his trade people then have to because they can’t get a deal. And these things can take time. You have multiple industries. you have multiple companies, right? You have multiple interests involved and then and then even if any country, you know, accepts whatever quote deal, then you got to pass it through the parliament, right? Or US needs to go through Congress, like this stuff takes time. That’s why this whole thing that Trump is doing is is a complete joke. It’s it’s ineffective. Uh it’s ludicrous. And then the markets are in disarray because he keeps threatening to do this and do that. Now he’s sending nasty letters. And this is the headline right now. US job openings climb to sixmonth high. That’s good news. the bad business aren’t hiring very quickly. Now, it’s interesting. I I was reading through this stuff and and I think some of these job openings may be phantom openings. Companies do that sometimes. They’ll they’ll put a listing on the website, but it’s not they’re not really hiring. Uh they just do that because they want to give the illusion of of hiring. And if you guys have worked at HR, you’ll know this already. Um because the basic gist of it is kind of word gets out that, you know, said company isn’t hiring anymore. They’re not growing. It get it makes investors nervous, right? People are like, “Oh my god, why would I want to invest in a company that’s not growing?” And and you’ll know this too inherently from being on the ground what the market’s going to look like in saying job market uh this summer. And from my understanding, things are are really tough uh for young people who are going to be graduating. It’s just it’s just not looking good. We’ve been talking about this before. I’ve heard of um companies uh rescending internship offers, these kind of things. Or, you know, a company may say, “Hey, we really like you, but we just we just can’t hire especially with the uncertainty of the Trump economy and the tariffs etc. I mean this is the the kind of stuff that I’ve been seeing. Um you also see this stuff as well which is um directly related is talk of stakeflation. Now this was actually an opinion piece. It was written by Joseph Bru Brucelis and um he’s making the case that uh this is a different stagflation that we saw in the 70s because um US has more energy and a little bit more energy independent this time. So, it’s not necessarily oil crisis, but he’s making the case that it’s more of a home crisis. Mortgage rates are up and you have this generation, well, I don’t say up’s a relative word, like we’ll say around 7%, and you have a generation that’s used to seeing like 0%, 2%, these kind of stuff. So, for many people, it’s a massive shock. Um, you may not know this, I’m 50, so I’m old enough to remember back in the 80s when like six and seven were were considered decent or even low. This idea that we’d ever go back to zero or 2%. I think is is not going to happen. But the Trump people want to get that sort of easy borrowing going again and set up the, you know, economy for for massive overheating. And this is sort of where we’re at. Um I I I think this is an interesting perspective. I I don’t disagree with this person. I think one of the other problems is that if we want to build more affordable housing, um just the current policy right now of the Trump people is to basically deport a lot of uh illegal workers who, let’s be honest, they they work for cheap and it makes it cheaper to build houses. I think you guys know this inherently. Um the other issue is is that it’s not profitable for many of these companies uh to build, you know, affordable housing. And so that’s why I say, for example, in New York City, they’re trying to to institute, hey, we we’ll we’ll, you know, set policies in place to make it more conducive to companies to come in and build affordable housing. Just right now, because our markets are uh, you know, Wall Street’s involved in in real estate, they come up and and buy, you know, single family homes. Um, you also have people that turn this stuff in Airbnb or you have neighborhoods that vote down affordable housing, uh, you know, zoning things. Um, there’s multiple issues of all this stuff. So, a lot of stuff is local. It’s not just federal. Um, but yes, there is a how a shortage of of affordable housing and it is a problem. Um, and and you know, with the mortgage rates the way that they are, it doesn’t necessarily encourage people to move. Um, as you guys know that, some people feel like that like, well, I I’ I’d like to move, but where am I going to go because housing prices are so high. Um, so anyway, I I wanted to share all the stuff with you guys. That’s what’s up. I do appreciate your time and and I’ll catch you on the next

  1. Trump is a fracking moron! Trump is a CONVICTED FELON OF FRAUD! Who the frack is going to want to make a deal with a known two bit con man & snake oil salesman.

  2. Lol. Donald! You F'ed up AGAIN. No wonder he got shipped off to that 3rd rate military academy. His dads' money was just too new for West Point.

  3. With brexit the uk also elected a tv personality as their Prime Minister, one boris johnson. He and his brexit cabal wanted to cut trade ties with the EU so like trump now he also went on a quick deals with other countries. It all failed miserably. Their greatest achievdment was a trade deal with Japan where they got to sell cheese to Japan, a country made of a population that is 95% lactose intolerant. We are still laughting at that one.

  4. Yes job growth is declining in the US, add the medicaid cuts, and green energy penalties in the bill.. Cuts to government jobs, higher education cuts, medical industry cuts… And we are headed for the second great depression… Then since we are borrowing more the US dollar is devalued as the international currency… And we are completely ducked…

    Wait you are 50? Geesh

  5. Amrika is the first nation to move directly from barbarism to decadence, and from there to unchecked decline. Ancient Rome, Egypt, Greece, Napoleon, the British Empire – they all perished. America will too, it's just amazing how quickly it's happening.

  6. What kind of deal could be sense, when you can be sure that Trump will cancel the agreement and try to negotiate a new deal in advance to the US? With Trump and mAga, the U.S. is simply unreliable. And with American exceptionalism, it makes little sense to negotiate an agreement.
We should negotiate with the USA again when sensible and reliable people are in charge there.

  7. Hip hip hooray for trump for destroying his own country no body is going to deal with America when there is hundreds of other countries to deal with

  8. Japan has found camaraderie with Canada and the EU. They are the ones with the biggest card in their hand. They hold over one trillion dollars of US debt bonds. They start dropping these, and the US goes bye, bye!

  9. We dropped NUC bombs on Japan for no reason and he is claiming they have been stealing from us? Have ppl not pay attention to what Japan said after ww2? They said they would take revenge through economic and Trump says they are spoiled? Countries are so sick and disgusted with Americans dominance they have nothing more to loose but fight back finally! Trumps mouth is sewage no body is listening to him anymore!

  10. Sorry, but why does Trump have 'Gulf of America' written on his stupid hat? We know there’s a big empty gulf between his ears, but advertising it?

  11. How can you trust someone who taxes penguins?
As for the other nations of the world, he loves them so much that he can't help but tax and overtax them. Only one country is an exception: Russia, because, according to him, it was attacked by Ukraine.
That says a lot about the character…the saddest thing is that he's destroying his country, which no one trusts anymore.
