Why U.S. 7-Elevens Are Adopting Japan’s Playbook
23 Comments
Half of their loss in the US are because every location I go to has the blue raspberry slurpee machine is down.
Not going to work here in US as the workers don’t care.
Egg salad sandwiches!!!
If they bring the Japan 7-Eleven corn dogs to the US, I will legitimately eat there everyday.
Adopting Japan’s playbook doesn’t work unless you plan on adopting millions of Japanese people.
Will finally have no homeless person loitering at the store asking money for alcohol?
The hotdogs get changed on a timely basis as well as pizza/hotfoods
Yes! Hurry up make it happen! Korea and japan 711 are so good. It's put american 711 to shame
All the 7-elevens closed around me im so sad about it
They seriously need to improve their food quality. Like seriously. I once bought a small frozen pizza late one night. When I got home the label shows it was expire over 2 years ago. Even friends have said they bought stuff that were expired by a year or a year & half. Only good things about 7-Eleven is gasoline & bottled beverages. That's about it.
The problem is Asians are Clean and others are not
Not gonna be the same with these homeless people ruining the vibe outside the 711 stores in America and the sketchy people
Certain demographic groups in the US prevent us from having nice things like in Japan/Korea, but ppl want to remain delusional …
As a rideshare driver I'd love to see more cheap, tasty & filling foods that I can grab quickly during a restroom break in a clean and comfortable restroom. I'm interested in making 7-Eleven my go-to pit stop destination if they can make it a better prospect with better options and a more comfortable atmosphere.
We need to close 9 stores so that the total number in the US is 12345 stores
Finally.
No way I’m hype
That first step is requiring the place to be clean though. Ignoring the cultural and opposite customer service differences
Wouldn’t buy a sandwich or anything made or cooked in 7-11. Their reputation is too far gone. WAWA & Sheetz are far superior!
The problem with 7 eleven US is not the store, it's the people let's be real. Americans are nasty, and they will nastify any and all things they touch.
Pedophiles are going to ruin this tooo
I would 100% eat at Japanese 7/11s in the US on road trips but agree the distribution problem will impact this reality.
Good luck. Here in AZ, 7/11s are only located in lower income areas..
