After they killed 20 million Chinese and occupied Taiwan for 50 years in living memory it's no surprise that China won't tolerate even talk of Japanese troops on Taiwan. Not to mention that all the treaties that stop a Sino Japanese war from breaking out again are based on Japan acknowledging and supporting the fact that Taiwan is part of China. If they backtrack on that then such a war becomes way more likely.
No more tours to Japan, no more eating sushi, no more buying Japanese goods for the entire 1.4 billion Chinese. Let's see what will happen to japan's economy which is already near collapse.
