Stock markets are the problem with economies. It fosters gambling and cheating like insider trading and stock buybacks. A better system would have markets that dont have floating prices and any derivatives. Only have dividends for stocks and coupons for bonds. That is it. Nothing fancy. I know it sounds crazy but this is the reason for the wealth gap and imbalances in the economy.
