Trump makes Pearl Harbor joke in front of Japanese PM

U.S. President Donald Trump joked about Japan’s 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor during a White House meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. When asked why he did not notify Japan before launching the war on Iran, Trump said, ‘who knows more about surprises than Japan? Why didn’t you tell me about Pearl Harbor?’
