The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago Cubs held their final day of practice on March 17th ahead of the season-opening MLB Tokyo Series. The teams clash at Tokyo Dome on March 18th and 19th. Pitchers Yamamoto Yoshinobu and Sasaki Roki – making his MLB debut – are set to start for the Dodgers. Their teammate Ohtani Shohei will be batting, but he aims to make a comeback this season as a two-way player. And in a historic first for MLB, two Japanese starting pitchers will go head-to-head on Opening Day, as Imanaga Shota takes the mound for the Cubs.
