  1. LIKE+COMMENT: Bond markets are screaming at governments to slash spending! Agree or disagree? Should central banks ditch inflation fears and cut rates to save consumers? Your views below!

  2. I give 2 schitts about Japan and their economy, nothing personal. Japan had no problem moving in to the US auto industry wiping out thousands and thousands and thousands of American jobs basically overnight putting American workers on the street when they couldnt afford their own homes. Does one single Japanese give a crap. Nope. I dont blame them either. So if this tariff change hurts them, oh well. They should have become independant of the US and more dependant upon themselves….

  3. I suspect that Japan is seeking an excuse for dumping their U.S. bonds because they no longer think it's a risk-free asset.

  4. 12:50 lol, what could the business model possibly be? I don't get it. Is it the classic "lock customers in then hike the prices until they're homeless"? Or does klarna for some reason borrow at a negative rate?

  5. What can you expect from a societal laziness that allows the growth of companies like Postmates or Uber eats? Go to a discount grocer and enjoy preparing your own food for a fraction of the cost. This allows for you to address your credit card debt. No one walks 1000 miles without taking the first step. We have made the decision to not purchase any durable good for the next three years because of the uncertainty caused by an administration that believes bankrupting the country is the best course of action. 6. 16:40 Credit cards in and of itself (themselves?) sounds like an insane concept to me. Let alone with 0% rate (even though I am morally opposed to interest rates). Virtually nobody uses credit cards here, we still call them that way for some weird reason, but they only do debit. If you don't have money, well, you save. If you don't earn money, Welfare is here for that (even though it's getting worse and worse on that front too but there is good inertia I'm not totally hopeless).

  7. Since ww2 the USA has had Japan as a vassal state of the USA with military bases, destroying their indigenous culture and screwing their economy when it got too powerful. The USA also constantly pokes its nose in internal poltics if Japan

  8. Japan has invested too much in combustion vehicles which are no longer required. They just need to let the car companies go bust and expand their battery industry, they have have great battery companies, but for some reason they havn't expended much compared to the likes of Toyota.

  9. Trump measures once, while eating a cheese burger and only glancing at the type measure, while kicking the dog ,plus trying to tie his shoes . "Hey man," I cut the wood ,see if it works "

  10. Anyone remember George w. Bush? Another genius. Started a war looking for weapons of mass destruction, 0 found. World economy's crashed, great recession. Now we have the next genius, he's starting a trade war. How smart do you have to be to know war is bad? Someone will have to pay, would you like to guess who ?

  11. How do you stop people from spending? You take away their money and make them poor. You could do that with taxation but doing it with interest rates gives the money to rich, powerful friends.
