VIDEO INTRODUCTION:
India just hit the $4 trillion GDP mark !!! We’ve raced past the United Kingdom, we have beaten Japan, and we are now the world’s 4th largest economy!!!!
So the Indian economic miracle is here, right!!!
NO NO NO!!!
Guys!! Come on, it’s okay to be happy with 4 trillion dollars, but do you realise, India looks nothing like Japan, UK or France!!
The Poor and impact montages
And don’t get me wrong—it’s a milestone.
But here’s the thing about milestones:
Sometimes they’re signs of progress. Sometimes they’re tombstones with better lighting.
Because behind the $4 trillion flex
is a silent, creeping danger
that has already crushed Malaysia, Brazil, South Africa, and Thailand.
And I am not saying, this the world fucking bank itself is saying this!!!
It’s called the Middle-Income Trap.
So before we light more fireworks over GDP,
India is already getting divided!!
While one India is celebrating $4 trillion…
The other India is wondering how to stretch ₹400 till the end of the month.
One India is building startups…
The other India is still building toilets.
One India is flying to Bali for offsites…
The other India is walking 5 km for clean water.
And both these Indias are real.
They exist on the same street.
Sometimes… even in the same house.
But the truth is—a $4 trillion economy with two Indias…
is not a success story.
It’s an incomplete one.
But the good news is we can fix it!!!
And today’s case study, we want to use the world banks report to help you understand,
Where exactly is India failing?
Which economic mistake did Malaysia, South Africa and Brazil make which killed their growth?
What do we need to learn from South Korea?
And what are the lessons that you, me and a billion people need to scream to our politicians!

  1. It's just that after demonetization, the black money has come to market and made white so GDP was same just that it wasn't shown. But that's why the recession also was there since 2008 and especially after 2016. Ita at fast pace recession, just suppressed under GDP numbers with fake proud feeling. The GDP per capita is also not right metrics entirely. Because then you don't check the income to inflation ratio. The numbers of the jobless youth is also not clear because some do the daily wages or the roadside stalls. So unless we have all three matrics with their impact, useless to discuss we surpassed japan. Japan despite being small and much more dense, people live their with highest lifestyle and work hard every day. We have government just employing people whose sole purpose of life is to take bribes.

  2. 27.14 Bro- Few of our South Indian politicians don’t even know the language you speak😅.

We are trapped in bribe and corruption. Nice video and good insights. I’m sure the next generation would do better.

  3. We need minimum standards govt to ensure food, education and healthcare, if this are given to people with quality then people can move development and innovation

  4. This govt trying something to do but there was huge leakage and lack of coordination between State and stupid freebie politics make lack of innovation

  5. GDP doesn’t mean every citizen are leading good life. It’s the population one of the biggest contributors to gdp index. Look at our situation in terms of – employment, health , human rights, civic sense, education , equality, press freedom , happiness index, hygiene….nothing. We are good in fight or killing in name of caste, religion, language, beef. We are good in humiliating and bullying others in social media, we are good in spreading fake news, we are good in hyper nationalism and ethnocentrism

  6. Is this wat MAKE IN INDIA initiative means to some extent others took 3 generations to achieve that here we are expecting it to attain it in 10yrs and calling it a failure 🤷🏻‍♂️

  7. Don’t worry India will start becoming a developed country in just 122 years time.
By the year 2147 we will have footpaths, roads, electricity, schools, hospitals, toilets, clean air to breath and even clean water to drink! 🫡

  8. When people stop wholesomely depend on freebies rather than working then govt shouldn’t have been compelled to allot budget to useless freebies rather than R & D 🤦🏻‍♂️

  9. 4. 2 trillion is just a figure and even if people are critical, let us learn to agree that it is higher than 1,2,3or 4 trillion and still growing. So if something is growing it is foolish to be critical and mind you no one is claiming India has suddenly become developed.
These idiots should realise its the potential that matters and these figures of 4 or 5 trillion are merely cursory but if they are growing, it is progress not regression.

  10. The video makes some excellent points, and I completely agree with your analysis. But I feel one crucial aspect often overlooked is the mindset of the people. Having grown up in Pune, you might have witnessed this too — many migrant families, particularly from economically weaker states, come to cities like Mumbai, Pune etc for low-income jobs, such as setting up roadside stalls.

However, once a generation starts earning decently, many don't prioritize education for their children or aim for upward mobility. The attitude often becomes one of settling for what's "safe" and familiar, rather than striving for growth or contributing to the country's larger progress. The desire to break out of the cycle is often missing.

If we really want to follow South Korea’s example, we shouldn’t just emulate their economic policies — we must also adopt their collective mindset of ambition, discipline, and national pride. That’s what drives long-term, sustainable growth.

  11. Spoke 100% correct..
We are actually lacking quality in all fields that needs to improve. There's no applause for innovations in India because everything is politics here no broad way of thinking to our Indian minds…

  12. The Vedio is Just right but one thing i am asking why are we comparing 10 years growth 📈 of india to 60 years growth of South Korea

  13. While Indian youth is just Waiting for vacancy in gotvt. Job while preparing in coaching centre 😂 .. just because they can Do corruption.

  14. Absolutely right I can't agree India is far behind compare to Japan lifestyle look at India population and Japan

  15. That means we don't have hope to be rich in our life because our gen z generation does not enough age to get uplift our life. In simple (Give Up 😂😂😂😂😂) reason= To develop a country it takes 40-50 years.😂😂

  16. You forgot that Korea, Malaysia, Germany, etc, all are small population countries. Their models doesn't work for India. Even China's model doesn't work for India caz China's an authoritarian regime.
