Workers are preparing the ring for Japan’s upcoming Grand Sumo Tournament at a newly built venue in Nagoya. More than 40 official attendants gathered to construct the dohyo — a 7-meter-wide clay platform — shaping and compacting the soil and placing hand-formed straw bales to mark the ring.
