GARY – I'm a huge fan, and you are the one creator, I have not called out on 'complicity by silence', in a genocide your govt. is committing, that you are financing, because I think your message is too important, and you don't want to be dragged into any war, other than the class war, but genocide is a bit more than a 'culture-wars' issue. Gary, you really should look into 'interest-free' economics, especially as espoused in Islam (yes, I am muslim), but it kind of echoes your karaoke story.
You benefit indirectly as the lender, through someone else's success, not their ability to repay the loan, and you undertake a level of risk as the lender too.

So I went on a ballroom dance class kinda thing with my now wife. Everyone could do all the steps perfectly except my wife and I who just sort of did our best, spun each other around in a circle and laughed. Everyone else in that class was miserable, and that was before my wife and I started our chortling.

This is a distinct difference between Asia and the West. Asian culture has evolved together with the modern human species, thus lived to see the only way to survive and progress as humans is as a society where the needs of the group are prioritized rather than the individual's, as taken too far in the Western culture.
