Japan is a BAD Place to Buy Real Estate? 🏠 #akiya #japan

  1. It's a different mindset. The property doesn't appreciate, but your ability to earn income off rentals with little cash going into the property is the draw. Still hoping for a "what it's like to be a landlord as for foreigner in Japan" video series.

  2. The bank account opening restrictions are ridiculous. Without a bank account there's little point in having a property: rental yields are not super great to begin with, and hiring intermediaries to collect rent and to pay for the utilities makes them miniscule.

  3. Wait, so you want prices to go UP??? The point is the price to go down so people can buy it and live in it now, in 200 years thats not now.

  4. I find Shikoku a high place of interest for me. I would love to look into investing there what’s the best way to start?

  5. Screw all these real estate scalpers. It hits every where and so many people cannot afford hosues anywhere. Goodluck to anyone who wabts to buy a house nowadays.

  6. Japan is a bad place to keep the haircut like yours. Ask your Japanese friends to give you an honest answer…really.
