the reason india is poor but japan is rich with the same amount gdp is beacuse of population india has 1.4 billion people and if every indian person needs 1$ that would be 1.4 billion spent but japan has only 124m people and each japanese person can get 10$ that would only be 1.2 billion so in conclusion india has to budget for alot more people than japan
