Why Japan Wasn’t Divided Like Germany After WWII 🇯🇵
🇯🇵 After World War II, Germany was split into East and West, but Japan stayed united. Why? 🤔
The Allies made a unique choice — instead of dividing Japan, they kept it under U.S. occupation 🇺🇸, reshaping politics, rebuilding the economy, and setting the stage for Japan’s rise as a global power 💹.
Would the world look different if Japan had been divided like Germany? 🌍👇

When I was in Japan last year all u see is US military helicopters flying overhead all the time
If Japan won, then it will control the USA and everyone will speak Japanese. That’s a great idea and probably better than what we have now.
Korea was chopped in half
japan is very lucky they werent seized by the commies
Also, the U.S. government pushed for sole American occupation because they didn't want Soviet troops in Japan
Japan to this day still under US command. 🇺🇸🇵🇷💯🪖🚀💥
Japan was lucky that the US occupied Japan, because if Russia (soviet union) had occupied Japan Japan would have been a backward state today.
Actchually , the UK and China was also included in the deal, but the British cant afford it with their homeland in ruins and a faltering empire and Nationalistic China was too busy dealing with the civil war at home against the Communists.
