Trump trade talks with Japan ‘a priority’ says top Japanese negotiator

US President Donald Trump believes that Japan is “a priority” in trade talks, Japanese negotiator Ryosei Akazawa told reporters in Washington DC on Wednesday (April 16). Akazawa was speaking after a meeting in which the US President made the surprise move to negotiate in person with the Japanese trade delegation. “Meetings with Japan are a priority. When Trump says that there are 70 or 100 countries in line (for a meeting), there’s no way the president can attend all of them, so the talks with Japan are a priority,” Akazawa said. “I think his presence is a clear sign of that.” Japan is one of the first countries to formally kick off negotiations, an early test of Washington’s willingness to cede ground on the duties that have roiled financial markets and stoked fear of recession. “A Great Honor to have just met with the Japanese Delegation on Trade. Big Progress!” Trump said in a social media message that contained no details of the discussions.

    特朗普给自己下套，被逼得快疯了。原因是他的“独裁思想”在作怪。自以为中国有求于美国，其实是美国有求于中国。他连供求关系都搞不清楚。他自以为一直对中国实行极限施压会有效。结果中国理都不理他。当他是透明的。虽然伤害性不大。但是侮辱性极强。朗普的自尊心受到了极大的伤害。只能硬撑住嘴硬打嘴炮。现实地说，如果三个月中国不向美国输送商品，美国所有超级市场的货架将会被抢光。美国人将没有任何商品可用。全国将发生大规模的暴动。到时候特朗普去跳海都来不及。“
