Trump fa infuriare il suo alleato chiave, il Giappone, proprio mentre la Cina svela un punto di s…
many in the United States are saying that there are urgent reasons to begin focusing on the potential threat posed by China they thought themselves pretty well invulnerable in the past but events in Ukraine and now in Israel have been a wakeup call and a terrifying new Chinese weapon considered a complete gamecher is just about to be launched so why you might ask is the Trump administration apparently pushing key Indo-Pacific allies like Japan into China’s arms exactly at the point when they can least afford it well let’s discuss having left the G7 meeting early Trump will soon be back in a room with the leaders of countries formerly known as allies of the United States for the coming NATO summit during the Joe Biden era there was work being undertaken to reorientate NATO’s focus alongside American zone onto the growing military threat of China and potential action in the South China Sea vladimir Putin invading Ukraine slightly distracted attention from that idea but in the 2024 summit Communique v Indo-Pacific was still referenced as an important focus for the organization but in any case in the Trump era the last thing he apparently wants is those dreary Europeans clogging up the space so it is reported that for this NATO summit the current draft to be released next week does not mention the region stick to your own area is the message instead the US will need to focus on regional partners and yet the Trump administration is continuing its tradition to date of acting as though it really doesn’t need anybody in the entire world there is no ally whose support is considered so useful that they can’t go out of their way to alienate them case in point yesterday Japan announced that it was scrapping the annual security meeting with the United States apparently due to an angry response to the US pressing it to spend yet more money on defense the US had already asked Japan to boost defense spending to 3% but then suddenly as seems to be the pattern the administration just turned on a dime and demanded that be raised to 3.5% as though that would be the easiest thing in the world to do overnight us Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Defense Secretary Pete Hgsef had been due to meet their counterparts from Japan on July the 1st no longer christopher Johnston of the Asia Group told the Financial Times that normally these annual summits with the US are seen as high priority because they highlight the US Japan alliance in the face of growing Chinese strength so it says a lot he said that they have put them off he said Tokyo appeared to have concluded that the political risk of going ahead outweighed the potential gain he added that it showed significant unease in Tokyo about the outlook for the bilateral relationship indeed it was only a couple of weeks earlier that the former deputy head of national security Noukatsu Kenshara was telling the New York Times that the country’s buildup of forces was largely there to reassure the US to show China sure but to reassure the US we want to be sure the US has our backs and enhancing our conventional military capabilities is the way to do that we want to show President Trump that we are a valuable and essential ally well that was two weeks ago now they seem to be rapidly coming to the conclusion that all of that is pulses before swine so why is the US behaving like this because it thinks it can one defense official told DFT “The US is now playing hard ball with allies in the Asia-Pacific there are already signs that this wasn’t going down well when Elbridge Colby in his confirmation hearing for his posters number three in the Pentagon called on Japan to increase its defense spending Prime Minister Shigaru Ishiba said that Japan would decide its own budget thank you very much zack Cooper of the American Enterprise Institute said this the Trump administration’s inconsistent and unrealistic message on its expectations for allied defense spending levels in Asia risks backfiring and undermining those officials and experts who are most supportive of the United States in some key foreign capitals the fact that such people still exist might be the most surprising revelation in that comment this comes on top of course of the tension over trade talks sparked by Trump’s unilateral imposition of tariffs on Japan and not to mention the rest of the world whereas the Trump team had been expecting that their act of extortion would have a string of world leaders begging them for a deal the reported US arrogance in presuming that they had leverage to force highly unequal deals on the other countries seems to be backfiring as well and certainly with countries like Japan where saving face is a big cultural priority and that is used to shrewd and logical negotiation scenarios not just a particularly crass form of bullying this has had Trump complaining about Japan’s trade negotiators being too tough not offering what he believes to be a fair deal bearing in mind this is something of a distortion of what you would previously consider a fair deal because it’s based on Trump’s distinctive and nonfactual premise that having a trade deficit with a country somehow means that country is ripping you off in the real world Japan like much of the rest of the world is trying to work through what it needs to do to protect itself from the United States both in terms of its sudden unreliability as a security partner plus its tariffs in theory all of Japan’s output will be hit by a 24% so-called reciprocal tariff from July the 9th assuming that Trump actually does something on that date other than simply extend the deadline backwards last week Tokyo approved a $6.3 billion spending package to support businesses that will be impacted by Trump’s tariffs brought in you know on the whims of a single man and this is happening all over the world on the security side Japan as mentioned is engaged on a military buildup but underpinning the current activity according to Saturo Mori of KO University in Tokyo is the fear that unpredictable and self-referential deal maker Trump could undercut them without a second’s notice for example he might do a strategic deal with China Xiinping to seed Japan to his sphere of influence he said this “We need to convince Mr trump and the MAGA camp that Japan is too good to give away it’s in the US interest not to let Japan fall into China’s sphere well that would be an uphill battle I would suggest trump recently questioned the fairness of the US Japan security treaty because of course he did we have to protect them he complained but they don’t have to protect us and by the way they make a fortune with us economically who makes these deals one question have you got a big airplane with lots of gold stuff on it that you could give Trump japan is working out its alternative options because while it has been caught out by the phenomenon of Trump it isn’t stupid it has a fighter plane developed recently with Britain and Italy and has strengthened defense relations with Australia who may also be looking for more serious partners still if the US cancels the Orcus project that was supposed to give them nuclearpowered submarines tokyo sent a warship to the Philippines last month to join a multinational military exercise for the first time this is no longer just stepping up in order to impress Trump it is stepping up because Trump has become part of the problem however Japan won’t force that realization into the public sphere until it feels like it has no choice so for now we pretend at least no more than it already has done by cancelling the summit this is really the time you would have expected the US to seek all the help it could get in the face of China for example it’s reported that US defense officials have had a shock awakening that has made them realize they are a great deal more exposed than they had previously thought two things from observing war in action one the way Ukraine transported drones over time to locations within Russia where they could suddenly release them as a strike against Putin’s air bases america realized that its bases on home territory were incredibly vulnerable to that approach because it had never crossed their mind as a possibility and then secondly and most recently the Israeli strike against Iran and particularly the way that it quickly became known that Israel security services had been infiltrating Iran for years and had created a number of undercover locations where drones had been stockpiled waiting for the time when they could strike as Gabriel Nurona president of Polaris National Security told Fox News “After Ukraine and Israel success with deep penetration drone strikes the concern was clear america’s enemies are studying that playbook possibly preparing to use it on US soil.” And one red flag China has been busy buying up land some of which is near US military bases for years then there’s that new weapon I mentioned at the start the Zutya SS UAV it’s an enormous unmanned aerial drone carrier it flies high at 50,000 ft and its payload of more than 100 attack drones which are designed to strike simultaneously using a swarm pattern called a hive attack led some to claim that it would rewrite the rules of war because that swarm could overwhelm enemy defenses locate targets carry out precision strikes one retired general told as.com “This is a tool that could incapacitate a country within minutes.” 10 of these planes could disperse a thousand autonomous drones towards power grids an energy infrastructure or even gas stations most countries in the world wouldn’t be able to withstand that kind of scenario well it’s expected to be taking its maiden flight anytime around now but yeah America can afford to alienate its allies make them poorer by slapping tariffs on them while at the same time suggesting maybe they should spend a lot more on defense and you know just generally behaving like a toddler plane with a loaded gun china I should point out does not have its military run by a Fox television host and while America is busy playing amateurishly with the idea of authoritarianism China mastered that art long ago so while America has gone by the rest of the world has to work out pretty quickly how it responds to the rapidly changing world situation i’ll tell you this much it doesn’t involve sitting back and hoping that MAGA doesn’t win the next US presidential election
The Trump Administration’s trademark aggression has just led to key regional ally Japan cancelling an annual security summit. Between America’s sudden unreliable ally status, and its assault on Japan’s economy via tariffs, it is now quickly re-evaluating its options. Just as all that is happening, the US has woken up with a start to not one, but two ways they might be directly threatened by China that they hadn’t seen coming. Not exactly the best time to be losing allies left, right and centre you might think.

Nobody likes arrogant Trump nor MAGA…!!
They’re so arrogant that vegetable and fruit is gonna pick by itself … and onto their tables!! “Stupid” in all caps!!
Japan will refuse to fight a Proxy War on behalf of the US ! Japan will have to deal with the very serious Earthquakes in
the coming years and need its neighboring countries to come to rescue ! The US should stop waging Wars around the
World and taking more care of its own people at home !
石破政権は支持率低すぎて、トランプ政権に怒るなんてこと できない気がするよ……
The Japanese government is practically run by pro-China figures these days, so even if it expresses anger, it doesn't reflect how most Japanese citizens truly feel.
Luckily for the world, China has not launched a full-scale war against any country in over four decades. Unlike many other powers, it maintains a defensive military stance and largely avoids foreign entanglements. Imagine if more nations took that approach.
USA is artificial state it can't compete with Iran who despite being officially Islamic state majority of people are still Persians nation that is around 3000 years old, they can't compete with nationalist and prideful Russia and second oldest civilization that remains on Earth and that is China.US simply doesn't have tradition, culture sense of unity nothing of value.
Excellent! Thank You for that accurate and terrifying breakdown! The US is failing (and flailing!) on MANY fronts!
The propaganda shallow view.
No Asian country should help America.
Australia so needs to not be the CuckSock puppet of the United States.
America has never been so unpopular, its all due to its support of Isreal, the need to look at their failing economy and failing social structure,Impeach your criminal President,he clearly is not capable of running his country, how was he re elected ,Maga what a joke ,make America broke again while Trump. get richer, and the common man sit without job's
Japan has the nerve! They're worried about the Chinese because of what they've historically done to them during when they acted as a colonial power, all the horrors they committed in Asia is haunting them, it's better they reconcile with China and see them as an ally instead of being a vassal of us/European colonial ideology
Trump is an Ass clown with no idea of what he's doing
I wonder when the inept moron trump is going to realize that Netanyahu is playing him for the sucker he is an starts demanding that the parasitic Israel stops leeching off of us US taxpayers and starts paying for teir own fascist adventures. We're getting sick of it.
USA is running a "Protection racket" on Japan and Nato countries. If concerned, do like Japan and withdraw. This is only funding US led wars against USA perceived "Enemies" and any country could be selected as that category on a whim.
Iran has a Mullah in chief, while America has a Mullet in chief.
Europeans need to go back to europe and leave America.
Summary Orange Man bad China the Best
Trump is a fuquing moron. The USA can just bugger off
I guess the lesson here is that no single country should be allowed to grow it’s military power to the point it can dominate the world.
MR. Mallen Baker where do you get off? This 💩 WEThe American people lost our infrastructure because of British FRee trade
Your load of crazy crap… needs to be reproved. Go read Trump book—-the art of the Deal—- and listen to Mark Lavin—- oh wait if your in Australia or Britt those government are censoring the truth so you do not get the real truth about what is happening…
The Opening of Pandora’s Box: Why War with Iran and Genocide in Gaza Will Not Bring Peace
With the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, and amid global outrage over the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the United States should never have launched a war against Iran. Not only is such a move strategically reckless, but it also marks the collapse of America's moral leadership and the unraveling of its global credibility. Today, the Western world stands at a crossroads—caught between the ideals it preaches and the violence it endorses.
War with Iran is no longer a regional matter. Iran is now deeply embedded in an emerging global axis, forged through strategic alliances with China, Russia, and a growing number of nations disillusioned by Western double standards. Striking Iran is not merely striking a country—it is rattling the very fault lines of the international order. Such an act risks igniting a broader confrontation that no one can control. America would not only forfeit the moral high ground—it could trigger diplomatic and even military blowback that reshapes the balance of global power.
Much of the fear surrounding Iran stems from its potential possession of nuclear weapons. This concern is valid. However, even if Iran does have such capabilities, the likelihood of it initiating a nuclear strike against Israel is vanishingly small. Such an act would be nothing short of national suicide. Nuclear weapons are not instruments of victory—they are the edge of mutual annihilation. Russia has long postured with nuclear threats, but even its leadership understands that pressing the button is to end oneself. It is a war no one can win.
And yet, while the U.S. and Israel remain fixated on Iran, the larger nuclear threat looms elsewhere—from China, Russia, North Korea, and Pakistan, all of whom are increasingly alienated from the Western-led world order. Containing Iran alone will not ensure global stability. The deeper crisis lies in a world growing tired of selective justice and eroding trust in international norms.
At the heart of this storm is Gaza. The scenes of devastation—the lifeless bodies of children, the weeping of mothers, the rubble of homes once filled with life—have pierced the world’s conscience. Leading human rights organizations, legal scholars, and growing segments of civil society now call Israel’s campaign a genocide. If peace is truly the goal, how can such suffering be the means?
The answer is clear: it cannot. Peace is not born through the obliteration of the innocent. Israel, like any nation, has the right to defend itself—but defense is not destruction. Security does not justify siege. No country can bomb its way to peace, especially when those bombs land on hospitals, schools, and refugee camps. Every civilian death deepens the wound. Every act of collective punishment fuels a new generation of hatred, trauma, and resistance.
America’s unconditional support for this devastation is not a show of strength—it is a display of strategic and moral blindness. It plays directly into the hands of rivals like China and Russia, who now posture as guardians of the oppressed, champions of international law, and viable alternatives to Western leadership. In backing brutality, the West risks becoming what it once stood against.
If we truly seek a safer, more just world, we must find the courage to confront violence not with more violence, but with justice, humility, and humanity. Bombing Iran, like hurling a fireball into someone’s home and running away, is not only reckless—it’s unforgettable. The world has seen the face behind the flame. And still, somehow, we think we’ve won…..
WHITE SUPREMACISTS AND ZIONISTS FEEL AS THOUGH THEY CAN RULE THROUGH FEAR AND DECEPTION BUT THE CHINESE AND SOON THE OTHER RACES ARE GOING TO CATCH UP WITH THEM AND THE QUESTION IS WILL THEY DESTROY THE WORLD BEFORE ACCEPTING DEFEAT?
USA as stated many wars. China none.
Donald Trump has no honor or integrity, Japan won't like that. Trump boasted about sitting down for negotiations and bragged about conspiring with Israel to create a Pearl Harbour style attack on Iran. The US did this twice.
Trump is like a Mafia Boss. The Deals are $, for Protection.
Articles of Impeachment are ready to go. Including Vance.
Anyone think the "Lobby Money for Israel" Senate will Impeach him?
Ted Cruz accepts a Bribe from Israeli Lobby of $1,899,058 for his (on his knees) loyalty to Israel.
Everyone should look up Our "Israeli" Senators & Reps " Bribe Money.
Time for a ReHaul & a VERY CLOSE INSPECTION OF Supreme Justices. Letting a Felon Run for President is UnConstitutional, and "Giving" the Criminal Felon President "Immunity" unconstitutional also. Maybe "Treasonous"???
More bull-shit from Baker regarding Trump, as usual. Japan was clearly wrongfooted by Trump urging them to increase their military spending from the present 1.4% to 3.5% rather then the 2.5% previously suggested. But Trump’s urging was perfectly reasonable. Japan has been ‘free-riding’ for decades due to their so-called ‘pacifist doctrine’. It’s high time that they started paying their way, particularly given their close proximity to China.
Trump, quite rightly, has been urging all NATO members to increase their spending and not just Japan. But clearly, the Japanese government needed to give more thought to Trump’s proposal and so have postponed their meeting. They haven’t ‘scrapped it’, as Baker claims and to suggest that this throws Japan into China’s arms is patently absurd and reveals Baker’s foolish obsession for desperately finding fault in anything and everything that Trump does. It's pathetic.
Trump left the g7 early because he’s way out of his depth when it comes to one on ones with other world leaders , he can’t stage Oval Office ambushes and has to discuss geo politics not throw out one liners as he walks into airforce one
The US actively pushing allies into the arms of China.
Trump, the dumb bag of dung that dude has never played risk. He's not smart enough
I live in Japan. We are occupied by the USA. Take a trip to Okinawa – all day flights of US military aircraft plus 20% of the land is US bases. They should rent the bases if they want us to pay more taxes to buy more weapons (like yet another Aegis system).
Was with you until you talked about China's purchase of US land. China's land ownership in the US is miniscule compared to every other major country, and it doesnt target US military bases, which are almost everywhere in the US.
Israel and USA – both zionist aggressors
Why do Japan need protection? USbases in Japan need protection!
"Vladamir Putin invading Ukraine slightly distracted NATO's attention"…. Your words – massively naive and totally inaccurate narrative that sadly echo our Zionist controlled lying Media. Firstly Putin is engaged in an SMO – NOT an invaision – with the tiniest of self analysis one can differentiate between an all out 'Invasion' and a carfully planned long term strategic 'SMO'. Secondly this 'War' started in 2014 when the CIA coup illegally toppled the democratically elected Yanukovych which then initiated the USA training up 3 Million Ukrainian troops to get ready for their eventual forcing Putin to 'React' and get involved in the debacle between this illegal regime and the DPR(3 Million troops now completely annihilated – 1.2 Million dead and 1.8 Million permanently incapacitated – almost certainly conservative figures). When Russia finally did get involved(8 years later and 14,000 lives lost – mostly Russian speaking Ukrainian civilians bombed indiscriminately by the Fascist regime controlling Ukraine) the RUAF were taken aback and surprised at the scale of apposition(not expecting Ukraines massive well trained Army) and at first they struggled, but finally took the Maripol region and major footholds in the 4 Oblasts that are all Russian speaking. He then held election within these Counties (monitored Internationally) and was vindicated when they voted overwhelmingly to be absorbed into the Russian Federation. Finding these facts out is not easy as ALL our Media are controlled by the USA(that themselves are controlled by the Zionist Lobby). The majority of people living in the West have ditched MSM and are finding their News elsewhere from the many Independent Journalists that are doing a sterling job, like;- Alex Christoforou, Declassified UK, The Crispin Flintoff Show, Free Palestine TV, WeeB Union, Jimmy Dore Show, George Galloway, Danny Haiphong, Katie Halper, World Affairs in Context, Mahmood OD, Jimmy Dore, Richard Murphy, The Duran, Levan Gedadze, and many many more – NONE regurgitate our Mainstream Media – ALL echo the facts as I have stated above – THEY are up to speed with events and the truth ! I urge YOU to listen to them – thanks.
Pearls before Schweins is reality.
Trump and US politics and foreign policy are those of a petulant, recalcitrant two year old.
Another liberal anit-Trumper. I wondered who the anti-American democrats were listening to. Now I know…
Trump is destroying his own credibility and betraying the MAGA movement that had an honorable message. USA is no longer a righteous leader of the world. Somebody else will rise to fill the vacuum for positive global leadership.
Was the increase to 3.5 per cent deliberate?
Pure fantasy.
Wow! This idiot only exists because of Trump. Almost every video he vomits up is an attack on Trump….
Japan "into Chinas arms"? Have you asked the Japanese people about this? Laughable.
Noone trusts Trump anymore..if they ever did….
Japan is Trump's slave.
China is not a warmonger, the west are.
You miss the whole point….
This guy always critiques Trump. I can understand that. However, why can't he address the issues that got Trump elected in the first place at all. Ukraine conflict, wokeness and immigration etc.
