Trump threatens 25% tariffs on Japan, South Korea

War with several U.S. Trading partners, including a new 25% tax on goods imported from Japan and South Korea. >> As Fox’s Caroline Shively reports, this comes as the president also is extending the 90 day negotiating period that was set to end on Wednesday for other nations. >> President Trump now delaying Wednesday’s imposition of massive import tariffs for another three weeks. >> Sending letters out on Monday having to do with the trade deals. >> White House officials announced they’re sending about a dozen letters to trading partners. The letters lay out 25% levies on imports from Japan and South Korea starting August 1st, with even higher rates on some smaller countries. But they leave some wiggle room, noting we will perhaps consider an adjustment. >> Here’s the rate. Unless you want to come back and try to negotiate. >> In April, President Trump announced extreme tariffs on more than 150 trading partners, then put in a 90 day pause, giving countries time to cut deals while under a baseline 10% tariff.     COMPARING SIZE AND SYSTEMS, JAPAN AND SOUTH KOREA ARE WAY RICHER (AND MUCH, MUCH MORE RACIST) THAN THE US WILL EVER BE. SO, WHY SHOULD THEY GIVE A FFF ABOUT TRUMP AND HIS INKKKOMPETENCE!

    Who will be suffering from traiffs ? Ultimately people’s of America because every things price goes up. People are unable to buy their foods and other items.

    Ridiculous, Japan & South Korea are our two Major Allies in the Pacific, and also contribute so much to our economy. This needs to end.

    An outfit I bought in tik tok before Trump tariffs cost $12 now it’s going for $25. I really want to buy another set but it’s too expensive!!!
