[Music] How [Music] do you want to heat? [Music] Um, I have the signed letters that went out to both South Korea and Japan today. Um, and there will be approximately 12 other countries that will receive uh notifications and letters directly from the president of the United States. Um and weeks ago I stood at this podium and I told all of you that the president was going to uh create tailormade uh trade plans for each and every country on this planet. Uh and that’s what this administration continues to be focused on. The president will also sign an executive order today delaying the July 9th deadline to August 1st. So the reciprocal tariff rate or these new rates that will be provided in this correspondence to these foreign leaders um will be going out the door uh within the next month or deals will be made and those countries continue to negotiate with the United States. We’ve seen a lot of pos positive developments in the right uh direction. But the administration, the president and his trade team want to cut the best deals for the American people and the American worker. That’s what they’re focused on. And in the effort of transparency, these letters will continue to be posted to Truth Social. So, uh you can enjoy them yourself. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat up [Music] here. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music]

U.S. President Donald Trump announced 25% tariffs on Japan and South Korea, citing non-reciprocal trade ties. In letters to both nations, Trump warned that any retaliatory tariffs would be matched by additional U.S. levies. These letters are part of a wider warning to 15 trade partners, with tariffs set to take effect on August 1 unless deals are reached. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent confirmed the delay allows time for negotiations. Meanwhile, the U.S. and India may finalise a mini-trade deal within 48 hours, with average tariffs around 10%. Full Bilateral Trade Agreement talks may begin after July 9.

  1. Trump doesn’t understand how diplomacy works, so he is doomed to failure. Already, former allies are making plans and trade agreements that exclude the U.S. Example: Latest numbers show American trade DOWN, Canadian trade UP.

  2. While running for President Abraham Lincoln declared, “ Give me a tariff and I’ll give you the greatest nation on Earth” Abraham Lincoln
Later Lincoln Ward, if America ever abandoned these policies, it will lead to want and run for the American people. Since America adopted that policy of shipping, our jobs to China real wages have not increased for 40 years. This began when America entered the WTO, world trade organization. listen to Kevin O’Leary talk about how his IP was stolen by China, then manufactured and sent back to America. We had to wait 40 years for a president Trump, a leader that would care about American workers. Not corporations being able to pay $.11 an hour.

  3. These same allies impose tariffs as high as 1200percent on or an export goods. So no I don’t feel bad this needs to stop or balance out. As an American I am tired of the shitty end of the trade stick.

  8. His best ability is turning friends into enemies!
Wanting total control of the world!
Believing he is the center of the world! Seeking to be admired, looking for greatness for himself …first..

The greatest leaders will make others greater then himself…when this happens greatness is achieved!

  9. TACO making noises trying to keep us from noticing his DOJ and his FBI are saying Epstein was all alone and nothing to see here.
RELEASE THE LIST WITH TRUMP ON IT

  10. I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to President Trump for all he has done for Canada. In stark contrast to Mr Trump's ridiculous tariffs, Canada willingness and ability to supply others nations with reasonable, fair and trustworthy trade agreements has already hit the world markets. Our exports to the US has declined, but our exports to other countries has skyrocketed as has our tourism industry. We increased our military spending as you wanted, but we no longer are buying American weapons. Which is fine, because now America can't procure those rare minerals and cheap steel we were providing to the US. So thank you Mr Trump, you have made Canada far greater than we could ever have on our own. And, unlike America, we have lots of allies. PS: we have always been great.

  11. Not sure why he keeps calling out Japan 🇯🇵 he shouldn’t be made because they build a better vehicle than the big 3 which probably 59 percent build in Mexico and Canada you can’t beat them for quality wake up Trump

  12. What is it, with the ffffing noise. Ii do listen to music and read, but come on— just give me a marching band.
    What's Up? ( 4 non blondes)
    You okay?

  13. “ friends “ that have had high tariffs placed against the US for decades now and by your own logic have been attacking the US for those decades….

  14. That's what we voted for!!! The fear porn propaganda is pathetic, the American people are tired of being taken advantage of an Trump is doing so awsome that there's a real possibility of Alberta leaving Canada an becoming the 51st state. Alberta is the country and does all the work an makes all the money an they're tired of the libtards in the city of Ottawa spending all the money just like in the US. If they actually do it pretty much all of Canada will have to within a year or so cause they cant survive without Alberta. It's crazy how well off the country is going to be cause Trump is actually doing it the way our forefathers intended. Well not completely cause the Fed an the IRS is actually unconstitutional, they were never ment to exist and that's a fact!!!

  15. This is not good. This is World Domination. That trashy Press Secretary just said, "…every country on the planet.." He wants to manipulate and order the whole world around. I am so ashamed of this psycho and of Fraulein L.

  16. Maybe it will dawn on him at some point that nobody is keen doing trade with an unstable administration. Europe and China will do well at finding new trade partners… The Manchurian candidate is performing waaaay beyond Putin's wildest dreams. Cutting government services, stripping health care and food assistance. And STILL not realizing that it's the American consumer that will pay for these tariffs in the end….which leads to higher cost of living….. Are we great yet?
