Morning Minute: U.S. and Japan Trade Deal, TXN Earnings, KSS Surge #shorts

Good morning, traders. Here are three things to watch ahead of Wednesday’s open. Markets are on pace to open at new all-time highs after the US announced a trade deal with Japan. The deal calls for imposing tariffs of 15% on the US ally. Shares of Toyota and other Japanese auto stocks rallied over 10% after the announcement. Shares of Texas Instruments are falling in early trading following weaker than expected guidance in its earnings during yesterday’s post market. The computer chip company projected earnings per share between 136 and 160 for this quarter. However, earnings were better than expected and revenue beat expectations at just below 4.5 billion. And the meme stock craze is back. This time it’s Kohl’s. Shares of the department store retailer rallied 35% yesterday.
