あすからパキスタンで米イラン協議

アメリカとイランは戦闘終結に向けた協議を11日、仲介国パキスタンで開きます。ただ、双方の主張の隔たりは大きく、協議は難航が予想されています。アメリカのトランプ大統領は9日、イランが「合意すべき全ての事項に同意している」と述べ、協議について楽観視する姿勢を見せました。トランプ氏は、イランの指導部が「合理的」な交渉姿勢で臨んでいると評価する一方、「彼らは合意に至らなければ、非常に痛ましい事態となる」と述べ、イラン側をけん制しました。これに対しイランの最高指導者モジタバ・ハメネイ師は9日、ホルムズ海峡について「管理を確実に新たな段階に引き上げる」との声明を発表し協議を前に妥協しない姿勢を示しました。パキスタンで開かれる協議にはアメリカからはバンス副大統領がイランからはガリバフ国会議長が出席する見通しです。
